Playing pool was fun! The cabin was clean and in a great location. The top 2 floors were warm. Lots of space to hang out. The living room was cozy. However, the ice maker did not work. Also, the bottom floor was freezing cold. The remote control fireplace downstairs did not work. This made staying downstairs very uncomfortable.

Not What I Expected

I wouldn't recommend this property. When driving up to the home for the first time, I was not surprised to see a For Sale sign in the front yard. The yard and the wrap around porch were in disarray. It looked like an abandoned home. The inside of the home was better however several light bulbs were burned out, there was some kind of bug infestation in one of the bathrooms, and a few roaches in the kitchen. Also, the kitchen could use some basic serving pieces. I've stayed in several homes in the area, and this is the one, out of them all, that I would not stay in again. The owner was responsive but I would have appreciated some kind of refund.

relaxing time with a great view!

My husband and I had a great time here. The sunrise was beautiful with the perfect fall colors. We put the hot tub, which would have been great for three people, to good use every night. We really appreciated that the owner had it turned on for us so it was hot for us when we got there. There was one small thing we needed at the cabin and he had it delivered to us the same day. The bed was really comfortable too.

Great location

The location for this property was perfect for our needs. The beds were super comfy, there were games provided, the hot tub got hot (although several jets do not work, nor does the waterfall. The pool table was fun, but as another review mentioned, the pool sticks need to be all replaced. The cabin only has 3 actual bedrooms, the 4th bed is in a loft outside the master on the upper floor. The kitchen is not fully equipped to handle cooking. There are no mixing bowls and there isn't a full sheet pan. The glassware was also lacking, there was only 1 12 oz glass, the other 7 glasses were all 6oz juice glasses. There are 3 different coffee makers and plenty of plates, bowls and mugs. I would stay here again if the kitchen was stocked properly so we could cook. Our family tubed down the Toccoa, which was only a 12 min drive away. McCaysville was super cute and was also very close. Fernando was very responsive to my emails but was unable to bring the kitchen items during our stay.

My family and I had a wonderful time visiting Mineral Bluff, GA. The cabin was beautiful, it was clean, spacious and well equipped with everything we needed to enjoy a wonderful weekend with family. I would definitely stay with this host again.

Very private and quiet

The cabin was perfect for my family, giving everyone their own space to spread out and relax in. Access to Blue Ridge and all the area has to offer made it much easier to plan out our week of adventure! Nightly visits to the fire pit for s'mores, then off to the hot tub finished every night with a quiet close. Definitely looking forward to returning to North Georgia next summer.
