Welcome home! Our lovely first floor condo is located on the bay side of the Resort in the charming neighborhood of Turnberry Villas. Our 3BR-2BA Villa features a comfortable living area, a fully equipped kitchen, a lanai, and picturesque views of the lake and Baytowne Golf Course. Hop on your brand new 6-passenger golf cart and head to the beach or walk across the street to the Village of Baytowne Wharf for the best dining, shopping and entertainment on the Emerald Coast! Whether you’re sunbathing on the beach, relaxing on the back patio, or admiring the beautiful boats at the nearby Baytowne Marina, fun is always on the horizon at 8548 Turnberry Villa!

In addition to its premier location, 8548 Turnberry offers a fully equipped kitchen complete with stainless steel appliances, a coffee pot, a Keurig, a wine fridge, and all the cookware and dinnerware needed to prepare and serve your favorite meal. When dinner is served, guests can enjoy kitchen bar seating as well as seating for 6 around the dining table. Designed with comfort in mind, the living area offers plush furnishings and a SmartTV. Located just off the living area is a spacious lanai overlooking the lake and golf course. And with cozy furnishings and unbeatable views, the lanai is the perfect place to catch up with family and friends while enjoying the warm Florida breeze!

8548 Turnberry offers three bedrooms and two bathrooms. The first guest bedroom offers a plush king bed, as well as an HDTV, and has convenience to a hallway bathroom with a tub/shower combination. The second guest bedroom, lovingly referred to as the “bunk room”, offers two sets of twin over twin bunk beds and an HDTV. Lastly, the spacious primary bedroom is furnished with a luxurious king bed and offers an HDTV, picturesque lake views and an ensuite bathroom with dual vanities and a walk-in shower.

For guests’ convenience, there is a full-size washer and dryer and high speed WIFI is complimentary. Guests are welcomed to use the 6-passenger golf cart as well as the beach chairs, wagon and beach toys located in the garage.

8548 Turnberry Villa is not only convenient to the Village of Baytowne Wharf, but also located just a few minutes’ walk from Jolee Island, Baytowne Marina, and the resort Tennis Center. And with the emerald-green waters and white sand beaches just a 7-minute golf cart ride away, good times are never far at 8548 Turnberry Villa!

Annual Father's Day trip

This place was perfect for our family! Location was great close to wharf Beach and the community pool. The golf cart came in clutch making trips to Publix and the beach. Walking distance to the pool. House was clean and comfortable. Had a issue with cable box but they were prompt in sending someone out.

The first part of the week was a family trip and the second part of the trip was a girls and mom’s trip to celebrate their high school graduation. The place was perfect, convenient and clean. Very well stocked and roomy. Definitely plan to stay here again!! We had an issue with the GFI in the kitchen not working. They came out and fixed it same day and had us up and running in no time. Very quick to respond. Overall a great trip.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The area was very nice. Baytowne Wharf seems to be more for younger kids, not our 14 year olds. Our unit was mostly nice, however the unit above us had a bath tub overflow causing water to pour through a light fixture in one of our bathrooms. They did nothing about it. It was on us to clean up all of the mess. It ruined some of our belongings and they only compensated us $50. After cleaning up this mess we learned the floors were disgusting. Extra blankets and pillows were not clean, they smelled terrible. The bunk bed mattresses are awful. I would not stay with this company again.

Great Location, Not my Favorite Property

The location is fantastic! The property management team was very friendly, helpful, and quick to respond. My only trouble was cleanliness. When I arrived it didn’t appear as if the hard floors had been swept. There was food, trash, and other debris on every section. I found a broom in the garage and swept it myself since I have a crawling infant who likes to put things in her mouth. The carpet is like hotel carpet - the dark brown type with small patterns designed to hide dirt and stains which made me feel grungy. None of us walked in the house without shoes on. I raised the blinds on 4 windows and each had dead flies on its windowsill. Not 1 or 2, but 6 - 10. The light switches, doors, and door frames needed to be cleaned due to surface stains that easily wipe off with minimal effort. Had the cleanliness been better I would come back to the same place again but I may stay elsewhere next time.

Recommendations

Couple of things: 1. The golf cart batteries are in terrible condition. Died in the middle of the road with my fiancé, and 2 daughters(6&12), the battery monitor on the golf cart said it was at 92% and yet the golf cart died. 2. The rooms stay extremely hot and you’re not able to turn the AC down past 69. Which I understand but when it is 110 degrees outside the AC unit can’t keep up. The bunk bed room was extremely hot due to no fan to circulate the air. The kids had to sleep in the living room on pallets and the sofas. 3. Might want to check the electrical wires in the master bath. My dad had a cut on his finger and when he went to adjust the main shower head it shocked him pretty good, so we were only able to use the handheld shower head. Also, there is a piece of tile missing in the master shower. Might want to address that before someone gets cut or you have other damage.

Two couples with large bedroom and bath each and spare third bedroom. Large living/dining/kitchen area and screen porch with grill. Pretty view of golf course and lake. Good golf cart. (Suggest one of the king beds is ready for a new mattress. Current one is too soft and broken down on one side. Tub didn't drain but maintenance came right away to fix it. They also showed us how to operate the TVs with the cable.)
