Arrived to a Filthy & Unsanitary Home â Would Not RecommendOur stay at this property was unacceptable. Upon arrival, the house was filthy and clearly not prepared for guests. There were party decorations left behind from prior visitors, and drink and food stains and splatter covered the kitchen and dining walls. Both bathrooms had visible mold, mildew, and dirty rugs. There was also feces smeared on the bathroom door and light switch. The home smelled strongly of cigarette smoke despite being listed as non-smoking.The beds were unhygienic, with unwashed mattress covers, thin worn sheets, and stained pillows. Floorboards, doors, and baseboards were coated in grime, showing long-term neglect. When I contacted the property management company immediately after arrival, they only communicated by message and offered to send the same cleaning crew back, but the home was not in a condition suitable for my family. I had to clean it myself to make it livable and safe from unsanitary conditions.I documented everything with photos and videos. The management company offered only a partial refund of the cleaning fee, even though the property was clearly not cleaned before our stay. This was very disappointing, as the listing did not reflect the propertyâs true condition. For the comfort and wellbeing of future guests, I recommend looking elsewhere until these issues are properly resolved.
