Beach Access Gate:
here are the directions for beach access! From the community, head to the beach road. At the beach road turn left (East) for about 2 blocks. At the west end of the Beach Retreat complex (4 story off white building) is the first of the two access points for the community. There is one at each end of the condo complex but this is the closest one for you!


The Destin area is known as the Luckiest Fishing Village in the World! Deep sea fishing is very popular in the region. The sugary white beaches and the clear, sometimes Emerald Green waters give true meaning to the word, 'Paradise!' The Destin area is abundant with restaurants, bars, shopping areas, golf, and water sports.

Vacationing here is an annual, sometimes two to three times a year event for many families! You should come too! When you come once, you'll want to come again and again! Some people make this area home after just one visit! Come see why! Paradise Reef is located close to everything too!

What to do besides enjoy our wonderful beach...

Should you wish to explore what the local area has to offer, you'll find an abundance of choices. Sidewalks line scenic 98 for walking, running or bike riding. We are a short drive to the Silver Sands mall to the West, or luxury shopping at Destin Commons to the East. Kenny D's, The Crab Trap, and Pompano Joe's are all within a short drive. We encourage you to leave menus of your favorite restaurants when you come.

For evening entertainment, Destin is known for some wonderfully upscale eateries, as well as your regular fare. Friendly night life and nearby state of the art movie theater.

The house was clean and came equipped with everything we needed. The backyard area absolutely made our trip! The privacy fence, pool, hot tub, beautiful lawn, and patio area was perfect for relaxing and enjoying our vacation stay. On our arrival our host, Kathy, went above and beyond, showing me our beach accesses, public beach area, and some wonderful restaurants close by. We would highly recommend this house!

Paradisesl Reef was an amazing rental! I would absolutely recommend to anyone looking for a super clean, quiet rental. My grand daughters loved the private pool, my lab enjoyed being able to play fetch in the fenced yard and the entire house was tiptoseei g and hearing the tranquility of the peace around the property was awesome. We also had so many cardinals visit daily. If your looking for a home away from home comfort feel, this is a must rent!

Tropical Oasis

I stayed here with my family for a week. This place has everything you need for a perfect get away! Beautiful backyard oasis, clean cozy house with all amenities needed, and the neighborhood is so peaceful and safe. 10/10 would book this property again! The owners are so responsive to any questions or needs. Can’t say enough great things about our stay!

Perfect Getaway

It was a perfect little getaway. The house was very clean. Kathy (the host) was excellent. Very responsive. We had a little problem with the pool heater (which to be honest was probably our misunderstanding) when we checked in. It was late on a Saturday evening and she had someone out there within a half hour to check on it. Can't beat that!Yes the pool is small as stated in other reviews, but we found it to be just fine for my husband and myself. Would definitely consider staying there again!

This was a beautiful house. The reason I gave a 4 on cleanliness was the sheet on the pull out trundle was stained and dirty (I think this happened bc on check out you are suppose to keep any beds slept in unmade and this may have been pushed back in under the daybed) and the freezer of the refrigerator had 2 shelves dirty. Other than that, the house was clean. The walk to the beach is a little longer than it looks on the posting but still walkable. The lights in the pool did not work but with the back light you can still swim at night. Kathy the property manager was very nice and responded quickly to any messages I sent. We would definitely stay again.

The home was absolutely wonderful. Clean, well appointed, roomy, comfortable! We really enjoyed relaxing by the pool when we returned from our daily adventures. The walk to the beach was a bit far for our group, but there was public parking not far away. We had a great stay!

The most relaxing week at the beach

What an awesome place to stay!! Yes, it's a little off the beach but only a 10 min walk and who doesn't need exercise :) The house is very spacious (we had 7 adults and never felt crowded at all). We used the backyard (pool, hot tub, patio furniture) each morning and night which really makes this place one of my favorites so far. We will stay here again if visiting Mirimar Beach.

Wonderful place

We had a great time in the house. We enjoyed the pool as well as the Jacuzzi. The walk to the beach was only 9 minutes. I had to contact the host several times regarding some information I couldn't find in my email, she responded promptly to all of my questions. Highly recommend this house, if perfect for around 10 people.

Wonderful Home

Great size for 6 adults and 1-3 children. Property was very spacious and clean. No one was bumping into each other. Walk to beach was a little far for our group but some in our group have some medical issues that hinders walking far. We weren’t fans of the restrictions on guests putting up canopies at the beach. Umbrellas were ok though. We went to another beach because if the restrictions. Check into it before you go so no one says anything to you. Overall a great place. We would stay there again.

Spring Break family trip

Property was as described. We visited when temps were in the mid-70s so most of our time was spent alternating between the heated pool and the hot tub. Borderline walking distance to the beach. My son and I rode the bikes to the beach on multiple occasions. Plenty of TVs (& WiFi) inside on the one day it stormed. We would rebook for future visits.

great home. was immaculate. back pool area is great with hot tub and a huge table for /10-12 with lighted umbrella. another table with umbrella also and lounge chairs. we had pool heated and it was perfect for the cool days. short walk to the beach or rent a golf cart !! great place. !!!!

Beautiful Home

We stayed here as a family of 7 (4 adults, 3 kids between ages 5-7). We loved how the primary suite was situated on one side of the house and the other bedrooms were on the other. This worked out well so that Grandma and Grandpa could take the primary suite and my husband and I could stay in the room next to our children. Overall the house was very clean, had everything we needed for the week. The pool and hot tub were clean. The pool was heated which was perfect as the weather was a bit chilly. I was pleasantly surprised with the size and depth of the pool. Our 5 year olds (small 5yr olds) were able to stand and keep their heads above water when first entering the pool which was great! Kathy was very responsive and kind. I would stay here again!

Family vacation 2023

The house was perfect. Would suggest having a book of ideas available for out of townets such as us. We didn’t really know what to do but would have enjoyed suggestions. Would have also been helpful to know how to get to the beach access and how to rent the umbrella and chairs. We are from Ohio and had never been on a beach vacation before. Having said that, we loved the house and made lots of memories ♄

Great stay

Plenty of space for our group of 10. Well stocked for cooking and eating. Loved the pool and used it daily. Lots of outdoor seating. Loved that we could all sit at the 2 tables to eat inside. Walking distance to beach and Dollar General. Property manager was very responsive to the ONLY issue we had during our stay which was a flat tire on the beach wagon. Had a replacement within a few hours and a new one the next day. Would not hesitate to stay here again or to stay at a property managed by Crystal Waters.
