Renovated house in the historic center
Welcome to our home - on the edge of the world, a short distance from the sea and in the heart of Andalusia.
We offer you our newly and sensitively reconstructed house built in traditional southern Spanish style.
The house is located in the old Jewish quarter of the village of Mojacar Pueblo. If you are looking for a traditional Spanish piece of the world suitable for relaxation, then you have found the right thing. The space The house is within easy reach of bars, restaurants and shops, where you can get everything you need, but at the same time it is located in a very quiet part of the town.
Our house has a beautiful view of the sea from the highest terrace, and you can go straight to the mountains from the rafters. If you want to fully enjoy the sea, the best way to get there is by local bus or a rented car.
The house is suitable for up to three people. Please note that the house is not suitable for children under 12 due to its layout and high terraces. When you arrive you will find a fully equipped kitchen, two living rooms and a distinctive bathroom. The terrace is suitable for an afternoon siesta and evening contemplation over a glass of wine.
We repaired the house primarily for our own use and did everything to make it comfortable for us all year round, so we had installed high-quality air conditioning, heated floors and a cosy fireplace. The house is airy and bright, we have carefully designed the interior so that it emphasizes the best of the Spanish tradition and at the same time is highly comfortable.
Something extra: You can use our hairdryer, juicer, toaster, iron with an ironing board. The library will provide you with books in Spanish, English and Czech.
CarnicerĂa Juan Mojácar - small, family butcher shop with various Spanish delicacies, including olive oil, spices, wines, etc.
The best and famous olive oil Oro del Desierto - 52 minutes by car to Tabernas
Supermarkets: Consum, Mercadona
The local Cepsa gas station has a great grocery and delicatessen store, open every day until 10 p.m. If you don't make it to local stores in time, you can get everything there.
Local markets that we personally recommend:
Turre - every Friday Faith - every Saturday Garrucha - every Friday Other things to note
Parking Take advantage of the free parking near the house (200 m). The house itself is located in the historic center, the streets here are narrow and unsuitable for cars. You can also use the local bus service.
The house is truly delightful, extremely clean with excellent facilities, sadly I can only give 5 stars in my review whereas it warrants 6 plus. Can't praise house or host enough.
From the moment we walked into Veronika and Ivan’s property in the Mojacar Pueblo we were blown away with the cleanliness, attention to detail and overall warmth. You can stay and literally not think about anything. From an abundance of coffee pods, dishwasher tab and everything you would need in the kitchen to a gorgeous toiletries pack on each of our beds. The outside space is super giving several options for relaxing and dining. The contact we had with Veronika was excellent. If we could give 6 stars we would. We are very much looking forward to coming back to stay in their perfect little house in the Pueblo .
The house is tastefully renovated and certainly different. It has a lot of stairs which was fine for us but could be a little difficult for some people. The facilities were good and in particular good air conditioning, a good strong hot shower and a comfortable bed. Unfortunately we did have an issue with the parking. We were advised to park in the nearby public car park which we did. However we were not told that there is a market held in the car park every Wednesday (in fact the market is not mentioned in the information about the house). There are signs to that effect but in Spanish - having been advised to park there we didn’t feel the need to translate the signs. Our car was towed away by the police and we ended up paying 100 euros to get it back. Needless to say we were not happy, especially when the owner said she had forgotten to tell us about it! We also did not have any beach towels at the house. After many messages and 3 days later (the day before we left the property) we finally got some. These incidents did spoil our week a little but overall it was a pleasant place to stay.
