This waterfront home will allow you to relax and enjoy your vacation in style. Conveniently located down a sloping lot to the deep water of Smith Mountain Lake, this Smith Mountain Lake vacation rental is one you'll want to share with all your loved ones. Take a refreshing dip in the deep waters of the lake! You will have access to a powered dock to tie your boat up, and it includes a floater, refreshment serving area, and fridge for the perfect all-day entertaining place. If you want a visit back to civilization, this property is conveniently located by Halesford Bridge, restaurants, and shopping. Surprise the kids with a visit to the miniature golf course or video game arcade.

Because of the beauty of nature surrounding this property, you'll love spending as much time outdoors as possible. A propane grill and seating on the deck are provided to grill and dine alfresco in the fresh air. You can even enjoy s'mores and storytelling while gathered around the firepit in the back while stars twinkle in the expansive sky above you. Then enjoy a dip in your hot tub! The remarkable views, beautiful surroundings, and warm companionship will add up to a family vacation you'll remember for years.

For those indoor days, the home has plenty of amenities to keep you comfortable and entertained throughout your trip. You'll never feel far from the water, as the wide-open sunroom, decks, and dining room all feel connected to nature.

This home includes an updated kitchen with granite countertops and stainless steel appliances, so you can have delicious home-cooked meals far away from home. Great place. Great time. Great weather. Asked for a refund of late check out charges and heard nothing. We left before checkout time and did not need late checkout.

Lovely location

Some noise from the gravel facility across the lake but not consistent. Loved the house and surroundings. Close to Smith Mtn Lake State park. Recommendation would be to clean out the fire pit after check out. The pit was very full and needed to dig out several bags of ash to prevent any fire safety issues.

Perfect location for convenience on and off the water. Kitchen was not stocked with many items and what was there was not of good cooking quality. Outside needed a lot of TLC. Decks, outdoor furniture needs power washed. Grass was not mowed for awhile and had to contact rental agency. Very clean rental but needs some updates.

Lovely spring break getaway.

Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The location was great, close to restaurants and shops as well as close to the state park and other trails. We really enjoyed the hot tub and the lake (which was admittedly pretty cold this time of year)! A few things that the homeowner should address. Both screen doors were broken and the thermostat was not able to keep the bottom floor and main floor at consistent temperatures. There were a few bugs in the house but nothing that cant be explained by being early in the season and right on the lake.

Family Time

Nice and clean lake house, well taken care of. Plenty of room for adults upstairs and teens downstairs. Kitchen nicely stocked. Enjoyed the sunroom. Walk down to the dock not too bad. My stepmom could go up and down slowly with a cane. Dock had nice seating and ceiling fans. Nice fire pit area. Hot tub in good working order. Good fishing spot. Listing said kayak and canoe available- no canoe, we tried the grey Ozark kayak and it filled water- my 72 year old dad tipped over and had to push it back to the dock in the water. The kayak looks like a sad attempt at patching holes was made. It should not be there for people to use. Needs to be disposed of. Reached out to the host and didn’t hear anything. The water traffic was busy on weekend with lots of boats. FYI- Public boat ramp around the corner. If you have a boat you can easily boat to Bridgewater for dinner. Overall enjoyed our stay.
