Katie’s place is an example of extremely efficient use of space, topped with a fantastic awning covered porch and beautiful view of gorgeous Smith Mountain Lake. We used one of their kayaks by putting it in the rear of our Prius to get it down to the ramp and back up to the kayak storage spot. It was lovely to be out on the still water on a weekday morning in May!Thanks, Katie, for your very quick response when we needed a code. It was a lovely getaway!

I came to SML for a quick hiking trip and this condo was perfect for my stay. It was so cute with a nice view overlooking the lake. Perfect place if you're traveling solo like I was or for a couple's trip. The hosts were so kind, responded quickly and also gave great recommendations when I asked about suggestions for dining options. Would definitely stay here again and recommend to others.

This little condo was in immaculate condition when we checked in!!! Although we visited in the fall when the weather was cool, it was still beautiful to sit on the balcony and take in the view of the lake. In the room, there was pretty much anything you’d need to cook with (utensils, pots/pans, etc), towels, soaps, fresh bedsheets, one of the most comfortable beds I’ve ever slept in! My favorite feature overall is the fireplace. Since it was so chilly, the extra heat and view of the electric fireplace added a nice cozy touch when it got dark outside. I think the pictures don’t serve this condo justice, it was beautiful inside and out! We even saw a family of deer the next morning just hanging out in the parking lot, super cool to witness!! It’s very quiet out here. The only issue we had was actually finding the room, but that may have been our fault and due to the fact that it was already dark outside when we first arrived. This condo is tucked in a corner of the main floor (not the very bottom) all the way to the left and decorated super cute! I will definitely be staying here for much longer during the summertime. This stop was just a short overnight stay as part of a much larger road trip, but we are definitely talking about coming to this cabin next summer for some lake activities!!
