Nice b&b near to the beach.

Pros: Our room was excellent and had everything you wanted in it. Breakfast was on the roof terrace and you could soak up the sun.
Location: Plenty of beaches to go swimming or sun bathing on. Loads of of old buildings and churches if you want to go sight seeing
Monopoly is a city set inside an old Fortress beside the sea . There are still the old cannons set on the ramparts. La Porta Vecchia is a lovely old building which as been done up to an excellent standard. The breakfast was very good and loads to pick from. On a night you could have a great fish dish or pitsa at the local taverna's.

Adorable b&b
Posted Sep. 2, 2014 on HotelsWonderful little b&b! Our host was adorable and so helpful. The deck on the top was lovely to have breakfast on each morning, and it is located in a great park of this beautiful town of Monopoli. Have nothing but wonderful things to say!

Just perfect
Posted Aug. 19, 2014 on HotelsAlthough we only stayed one night here, we were supremely impressed with our stay at this B&B. Upon arrival in the beautiful village of Monopoli we were greeted by the owner and informed that we were to stay in here newest b&b building. The room was very well appointed with a little kitchenette and comfy bed in addition to a beautiful bathroom. Both of the buildings of the b&b are walking distance to the village's beach and many restaurants and we enjoyed ourselves strolling around the tiny streets all afternoon. Would happily stay at this establishment again for a longer time for its hospitality, charm and cleanliness.

Will definitely go back
Posted Oct. 12, 2011 on ExpediaLovely typically Italian house, located in the the historical part of Monopoli, it is very comfortable and clean. There is a lovely roof terrace for breakfast and relaxing and our room had a lovely Juliet balcony and lovely Italian furniture, very romantic. Cossima the owner is fabulous, very friendly and helpful and nothing was too much trouble, she make's you feel at home. La Porta Vecchia will be one of the places we go back to as you can really chill out and you virtually have the run of the place. Monopoli in the historical part is lovely, it was great to have a stroll through the street's in the evening, the place comes alive with families having there evening stroll and the main square is great for sitting at a cafe and people watching. Lot's of restaurant's to choose from and some good shops. Can't wait to go back. Thank you Cossima it was a pleasure to meet you and your sister in law, oh and of course your gorgeous little boy.

Fantastic B&B in beautiful Monopli
Posted Jul. 2, 2011 on ExpediaThis little hotel is beautifully maintained by its owner Cosima. Built on 6 floors (it's not suitable for those who don't do stairs) it has so much character; breakfast is served on the roof terrace and the rooms are spotlessly clean. We didn't know what to expect before arriving but couldn't belive we had made such a good choice. It really is only 50 metres from the beach too.

B&B carino e molto comodo
Accoglienza cordiale, ci tornerei volentieri.
