No hot tub

The hotel is under renovation for water damage. It has a very strong chemical smell that’s disturbing us. Also we booked this hotel because it was listed as having a hot tub but it’s out of service.

Thank You for the review Tim. We are repainting the pool and the hot tub has been resurfaced as well as the floor has been repainted. There is no good time to shut this area down but it will be so much nicer for guests when it is complete. It is listed on Expedia that it is temporarily closed.

Terrible experience. Room was so smelly. They offered an air freshener. Pool was closed without a note of it. And the room was so dirty! Do yourself a favor and stay at the cheaper best western across the parking lot!

Thank You for the review Megan. When I checked you out this morning, you didn't mention anything to me regarding this. When I got this review, I personally went to the room and smelled nothing bad. I also spoke with night agent and there were no complaints. Yes the pool is closed, but it is closed on Expedia site as well as noted at our front desk. I checked myself and also called Expedia and they verified it is closed on their site, and has been for over a month. Of course there is no good time to close a pool, we decided to do this during our slow period. We are making some great renovations including resurfacing and painting the pool and spa and painting the floors. We are doing this so our guests will have a great area to hangout, as it was getting pretty out of date. It will be quite nice when it is complete.

First the front desk agent checked us into a room that was already occupied by a guest I went down and explain that to her she moved as quickly to a new room. The new room was on a different floor we get off the elevator to the smell and sight of vomit all over the floor we stepped around it went to our room and I went down to the front desk and let her know when we came back from our event 5 hours later being now dried vomit was still on the floor. The room itself was clean other than barely any water pressure coming out of the shower and the toilet seat was extremely loose you had to be careful sitting down or it was going to dump you on the floor

Staff is so kind and accommodating. I’ve stayed a number of times due to bad weather at my house. I highly recommend this hotel.
