Beautiful town and fantastic hotel

The AX is located on a hilltop with a lovely outdoor pool, water fall and sauna. Stayed in Rm 304 with gorgeous view of town (St. Jovite) and Tremblant mountain range in the background. We walked to dinner in St. Jovite (about 10 minutes), for outstanding authentic Mexican food Resto Bar Lolita highly recommend. For dessert we opted for Quebon ice cream at Creme Et Chocolate and it was fantastic. St. Jovite is roughly a 15 minute drive from the ski hill and you can take free bus transportation in town if you wish to go up to the hill. The town is beautiful and quaint with all the amenities one could need. Grocery, pharmacies, outdoor patios, multiple restaurants and fantastic window shopping. The AX is also located right next to an amazing snow tubing complex as well. The room was a king bed with a sofa bed. Desk, chair massive flat screen, small refrigerator and coffee as well as toiletry essentials (hairdryer included). The room was pristine clean along with any of the common areas, elevators and outdoor pool area. The hotel has a modern spa type feel about it as the area is known for focusing on health and wellness. Breakfast was not included however, I would highly recommend the AX for its reasonable price, quality and location to both families and couples who are looking for a quiet retreat at any time of the year.

Overall not bad. The property conditions are not on point. Even the renovations are done by unexperienced labor like the shower glass was removed but instead of putting a border for the drain, there is nothing you end up with water all over the bathroom floor. But the place is calm and remoted, wich is nice if you want to deconnect

I had a great stay! The place is awesome overall. The only suggestion I have is that they could update a few things, like adding TVs with casting capabilities, especially for rainy days. Other than that, everything was fantastic!

Modern hotel quite close to Tremblant village (~10-15 minute drive). Dining options nearby. Room was very spacious and comfortable. There is a cozy lounge for groups. I would consider staying here again next time I am in Tremblant.
