c'est ma 3e fois au decameron runaway bay et j'ai été décue par les changements apportés coté musique. On n'entendplus de reggae ou presque pas, la musique des beach party est horrible et beaucoup trop forte, ils font ca au bout de la plage et avec le vent, le son se transporte partout et beaucoup trop tard. la moyenne d'age est de 45 ans et plus et ils mettent de la musique pour les 20 ans, résultat, pas grand monde au beach party car ils ne s'adaptent pas à leur clientÚle. aussi, le prix des excursions, ca fontionne maintenant avec les taxis et il faut payer nos entrées nous memes. ca revient tres cher. exemple, un aller-retour a ocho rios pour faire du shopping c'est $80 US que tu sois 1-2-3 ou 4 personnes. la bouffe est tres ordinaire mais bonne. le menu est redondant. du poulet il y en a beaucoup.

Un accueil trĂšs froid. Ça m’a pris du temps avant d’avoir ma chambre. Un personnel trĂšs froid, pas du tout formĂ©. La nourriture, la boisson manquantes. Souvent on ne mangeait pas, plus de nourriture au dĂ©jeuner, diner et souper. Au 2e jour de mon sejour dans les il n ‘y avait plus de piña colada. Les seuls points forts ont Ă©tĂ© les spectacles, la mer et la propretĂ© de l’hĂŽtel, le reste trĂšs dĂ©gueulasse.

Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Ruel by the main bar, was expectational in his care and attention. Young lady at front desk when we arrived was very friendly, helpful and accommodating. However, the food needs to be improved, both in variety and flavour. Also, for an all inclusive the availability of food was very lacking. Overall we did enjoy our stay but if we were to return, the food would have to improve greatly and be available through out the day.

It's a great property and great value. People shouldn't go to Jamaica to sit at the resort property the whole time, so what's the point of spending all that extra on a 5-star? I've traveled there 25+ times at various different properties, and this is by far the best value. Food's great too.

For the price, the resort was well worth the trip. The cove beaches are close and very clean. Most of the bufet food was good (just get there when it is opening and fresh). The restaurants had good food and plenty of portions for each theme. The waiters were attentive (Akeem and Andrew to name a few). Lots of different drinks to order at the bar. The entertainment team was fun and prizes were given to the winners of games.

Decameron is a nice and clean. However, the property needs to be maintained properly and the food needs more variety and taste. The staff and service is excellent and very friendly. Shout out to Kristan Blake, front desk agent who accommodated us with our room choice. The 2 Short Boss both morning and evening food and beverage servers who went above and beyond for us. Thank you again for a wonderful stay. I will be visiting again to see what the new management brings.

This hotel is very nice an very peaceful I would recommend it for easygoing people that just want to relax .. I had zero problems the people here work very hard to keep you happy the do everything with a smile. The bars are great good staff.. the main pool is the hot spot they keep you dancing and very entertained they get the crowd going even on slow nights they know how too party .if you’re looking for very affordable hotel look no further.. The breakfast are very good just get up early to eat , the lunch and dinners are traditionally similar to any hotels .. the beaches are great cause they are just coves and they are not deep you can walk out pretty far IT’s great for lazy parents and people who can’t swim
I enjoyed the disco club the parties are really good even if it’s slow night you can get drunk and dance the night away, i think they need a sigh cause I couldn’t find it the first 4 days I was here but when I finally found it is really worth it .. room service was ok bring a fishing rod if you like to fish you can fish.. Just ask security or the staff they will get you any random things you need above an beyond service .. they keep the place very clean making sure the beach’s are well raked in the morning . They have good paddle boards and kayaks for the calmer sea days ..I had a good time from a man’s perspective .. you can go outside the resorts there’s nice karaoke bar very nice tourists are welcome no fear and just enjoy ,, the atm is just outside of the hotel

The resort has “Do Not Feed The Cats”. They have (4) I counted that have free reign of the resort
walking through eating area while dining. Why not get rehome them. My son was bitten by one and they didn’t even have a first aid kit - nursing station closed. Double room had 1 tv inside one bedroom. Best thing was Crystal pregnant gave excellent dining service.

The Royal Decameron Runaway Bay is definitely a place I would consider revisiting, however, the only issue I had from the first day stay (5/25-5/30) to checking out, the wifi. Wifi was the worst. Also my sister in law stayed in a me m I really have no compaints about the location, service, and the hospitality of the workers. I am hoping i uavent incurred anoy charkw

The staff were very friendly, food was great, property very clean quiet and safe! What i did not like was that the tv was not clear and the wifi was horrible! I informed the front desk several times and nothing was corrected. They did try to assist but I was told that it was an i.t issues. I was however offered a change of room the day before my departure which i appreciated but had to decline. So no tv or netlix on my phone for me the entire time. And because the wifi was in and out, i now have a whopping phone bill because the service kept jumping on and off which i wasnt aware of. I thought i was safe once i hit connect. Go figure

Con’s This hotel is old!! Staff don’t give a crap about tourist can’t even get change for US currency. Don’t waste your money. there are better hotels in Jamaica for what you paying. Beach is rocky and you can’t really swim in it very shallow. You can’t check in early they charge you $28 US. For early check-in. Pro’s Food is good The bar is ok also You can walk outside to the local shops and restaurants. I was very disappointed because I heard this hotel was great place in the past.

Loved the property; the beach and the landscape. Customer service at the front desk was also good. Entertainment specifically “ showtime was poor” as the entertainment was not pleasing. Better entertainment options needed. More variety of dancers and singers were needed.. Food quality was good however more culinary options were needed. Additionally more supervision was needed in the main food area, as many times the food trays were empty and needed replenishing in a timely manner. Due to this there was always a rush of people at opening hours crowding the entrance to ensure they were able to get food. Other guests could be heard constantly complaining about the aforementioned food issues.
