This is definitely an old hotel, but that is what made it so charming. The staff was outstanding. Walking distance to everything.

Bathroom floor is dirty. Hasn’t been cleaned properly in a long time. Pokey little room on 3rd floor. No elevator to property. Fortunately the receptionist was able to carry suitcases up the stairs for us. Not impressed at all.

The room was lovely and functional...even had wine glasses! The breakfast was not lavish but honestly it exceeded my expectations and was not the usual industrial omelette situation you find at many chain places. Well done. Also enjoyed the location as it was walking distance to many points of interest but also reasonably close to the metro.

Great stay at this hotel for 2 nights. Staff excellent - friendly and helpful.. Breakfast fabulous and fresh. The hotel is quaint and traditional and our room was away from traffic noise but you could easily hear other guests coming and going, not the fault of the hotel at all. However, this meant only a view of a wall and the fire exit. Easy walk into the town and to Mont Royal. Would definitely stay again if in Montreal. Would give 4 & half stars! 😋

Lovely old building. Pretty central to tourist areas of Montreal. Comfortable sleep, windows that open. Very nice staff. There are stairs involved but that beats a ride up 20 floors in an elevator any day.

The person at the front desk was exceptionally nice. When I mentioned not being able to sleep my first evening there because of noises outside of my room, I asked to be moved to another room and he graciously honored the request. I greatly appreciated the effort and was very satisfied with the room change.

Although no elevator and parking is off-site ( still very convenient, safe and well lit with security cameras), the staff and the ambiance of the building alone make up for it. Very close (10min stroll) to a variety of restaurants and bistros. 30 mins from Old Montreal on foot. Will be my future go to when I am in town. Highly recommend

Loved our stay here! 💛 Cozy front garden, stylish rooms with modern bathrooms, comfy beds, and a gorgeous bay window in our tower room. Free Breakfast was delicious with plenty of choices, and the staff were super nice. Perfect spot near cute shops and great restaurants. No parking on-site, but it’s easy to find nearby. We’ll be back!

Charming older hotel in downtown area. Room was nice but not a great view from windows from the room. Staff very friendly and helpful. Continental breakfast was good and access to tea coffee was appreciated. Wasnt too fond of area but would stay there again in a room with a better view, I felt safe and easy access to where i wanted to go and to metro. For price it would have been great to have a bit more hotel amenities. But it is an older hotel and the charm was very representative of Montreal.
