In cabin on the upper most level of the complex with a slightly obstructed view of the mountains with the roof of the main complex which was a shame but the sunrise was just a walk away for so.e stunning Sunrise photos. The accommodation was adequate, not 4 star, but certainly not 1 or 2 star. Clean and welcoming. If i have a criticism it would be the the accommodation was 'Tired' and i need of some tittyvating. The restaurant was very good, with HUGE and tasty portions food service and those stunning views. Overall i would have no hesitation of recommending this Lodge.

We were in room 200. It was clean, spacious. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom is small, but functional. The convenience to the park is great and we could see the sunrise from our deck.

The view of the morning sun from the hotel terrace was amazing! The restaurant was crowded, but the staff was efficient and the food was brought quickly and delicious. However, the attitude of the female staff at the souvenir shop was not very good.

The fan is really noisy… we turned it off. Otherwise can’t sleep. We opened the balcony door as our ventilation. The landmark view from our room balcony is gorgeous. The food in the restaurant is good, except walking up/ down the stairs

We recently stayed two nights (4/12–4/14) at Goulding’s Lodge in Monument Valley, booked through Expedia, and were extremely disappointed. Upon checking into our cabin, we accidentally spilled water and noticed the floor was filthy—covered in dirt and hair, clearly not cleaned. That evening, the TV wouldn’t work due to a satellite error. We called the front desk and were told maintenance would come the next day. The next morning, the coffee maker didn’t work either. We called again; maintenance came while we were out but did nothing—both the coffee maker and TV were still broken. We called a third time. One worker replaced the coffee maker after seeing it wasn’t working. Two others came to try to fix the TV but couldn’t. I then spoke with Kirstie at the front desk who said to contact Expedia for a refund. When I did, Goulding’s Lodge told Expedia they would NOT issue one. We paid $700 for two nights with no coffee maker the first morning, no TV at all, and dirty floors. This is unacceptable. I will be disputing the charge with my credit card company. Goulding’s failed to deliver basic amenities and did not honor their word. I do not recommend staying at Goulding’s Lodge. Next time, we’ll choose The View Hotel, which I’ve heard has better service—and as the name suggests, a better view.
