This is wonderful place to stay if you visit Mora. It is a charming locally-owned little hotel with great food and friendly service. I would book here again.

When I mistakenly booked two nights at the HEIM, I was jet-lagged and overtired; we had only intended to to stay one night. When we checked in and explained the situation, the young woman in charge refused to change the reservation. We contacted Expedia, who told us not to pay while they tried to sort things out. When we had dinner in the restaurant we were treated rudely, with the staff serving other patrons who had arrived after us before they finally fed us after 1 1/2 hours. When we checked out we offered to pay for 1/2 of the second night, which we thought quite generous but were refused. I would not recommend this hotel or its restaurant to anyone, despite the lack of options in Mora.

My room was clean and of a good size. The staff were kind and helpful. One of the great things was a restaurant downstairs - it was perfect after a long day of traveling.

Trevlig personal och rummet var städat och rent. Skicket på rummet var ganska slitet med trasiga/lösa saker. Framförallt kunde man önska mer av toalett/dusch.

Hotellet andades vandrarhem. Mattor och trappor i hotelldelen var det smutsigaste vi någonsin sett. Dricksglas saknades på rummet. Frukosten var sparsam, med undantag av äggröran, som var god. Personalen var mycket trevlig.
