Adorable Long Island Cottage

Welcome to the lake! Come spend a relaxing vacation at this adorable home which is less than 5 minutes’ drive to the Long Island Beach. The Long Island beach is a stunning shared walk-in sand beach on Lake Winnipesaukee which is only 2.1 miles from the home. A parking pass for the beach comes with your stay and the owner also provides (4) bicycles if you prefer to bike down to the beach!

You’ll enjoy your time at the beach, but you may never want to leave the property! Roast marshmallows with the family around the fit pit in the back yard or play bocce ball on the court during the day. The home itself has been completely updated inside and out with modern finishes that you’ll love! The kitchen is bright and well equipped including a Keurig for your morning coffee. Enjoy time relaxing with family on the screen porch or on the back deck where chaise lounge chairs and a gas grill are waiting for you to enjoy. There is a game room downstairs with a foosball table, TV, and couches for all to enjoy, as well as a ¾ bath.

The home has three bedrooms; each bedroom has a queen size bed, a mini-split wall mounted air-conditioning unit, and a ceiling fan. The first bedroom is on the main level of the home where there is also a full bathroom. The second and third bedrooms are upstairs. A queen sized sofa bed is in the lower level and sleeps two comfortably.

This property makes a for a great vacation whether you’re visiting in Spring, Summer, Fall or Winter – enjoy hiking Red Hill or the trails at the Castle in the Clouds. Visit the Loon Center in Moultonborough or the Squam Lake Natural Science Center. Play a round of golf at Birch Hill Country Club or “mini-golf” at Paradise Falls – both in Moultonborough. There’s so much to do nearby!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our stay at Pot O Bean was a return from last year. Its location and many amenities were key factors in us returning this year. The access to the local town beach was a major plus as the beach offers a great deal of fun for the grandkids. In addition the property location is convenient as a base for day trips outside the lake area. All in all fantastic property.

Wonderful stay on the quieter side of Lake Winnie

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: 4 adults and two kids all said multiple times, “ I love this house, it’s perfect and wish we were staying longer!” It’s newly built with design on comfort and fun with multiple areas to hang out both indoors and out, even use of the owner’s games and fire pit. The location is just minutes from the beach that our kids loved. The rental company agents were so helpful multiple times and made the stay better. I would recommend that if you use Blue Apron meals or similar services, to call the agency well in advance for delivery options. Castle in the Sky was a must see, get tickets for outdoor event concerts there well in advance. Ollie’s ice cream in Center Harbor best in the world.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: When we opened the door, it was like someone was there to welcome us. Everything was like brand new and spotless. Everything we needed was there for us. There were lots of little touches that made it feel homey ans special. Bathrooms are placed weird, but we managed fine. The couple on the main floor agreed to use the lower-level bath, while the couple on the top floor used the main floor bath. Be mindful this place in nowhere near the shoreline. We were mislead by pics of the shoreline. We can't really complain about anything because it was so well kept and cozy. Oh, the TV was hard to figure out. IDK if the cable box even works.
