My group was the first stay of the season at this spacious, well-located property on Mt Desert Island. It is very private but still a convenient drive to Bar Harbor and Acadia. There are two bedrooms on the first floor with king-sized beds and their own bathrooms, with four bedrooms on the second floor, two with queen-sized beds and two with two twin (or full) beds, plus shared bathrooms upstairs. In that way the house is a little unusually configured, but you could easily accommodate six couples. There is a lot of space to hang out on the first floor (at least five rooms counting the kitchen). The house-keeping crew was still getting the place spruced up as we arrived, and there was an issue with the water filtering that led to low water pressure that I understand has now been addressed, but they did a good job and I expect that this is one of a small number of properties in the area that can comfortably accommodate a large group.
