Excellent spot to use as your 'home base' while doing daily activities in the area. The Bear Den is well equipped with wifi and TVs to watch and relax after busy days of fishing, hiking, mining, or whatever else you plan for. The pool is within walking distance and viewable from the dining area. The Bear Den is like your home away from home with a kitchen well equipped for any cooking, and laundry in the unit. 5 stars for sure.
From the moment we arrived to the time we left, our stay at the Bear Den was outstanding. Entry instructions were sent early on check-in day, making our arrival smooth and easy. The cabin exceeded our expectationsâfully stocked with everything from blenders and Instant Pots to all the cookware you could need, whether you're cooking inside or grilling out. They even had child-friendly utensils for little ones.
The bedding was cozy and clearly labeled, which was especially helpful for using the hide-a-beds. We appreciated the thoughtful touches throughout the homeârobes in the master bedroom, plus a stash of essentials like razors, feminine products, toothbrushes, and toiletries in case anything was forgotten.
Outdoors, deer food was provided along with a full set of activitiesâtennis rackets, basketballs, bug spray, and breathtaking scenery. A fun little bonus: a âbear huntâ around the condo to spot all the bear-themed decor (there are more than youâd expect!), which added a playful touch.
The hosts were incredibly responsive. They even came out to replace low batteries in the door lock after we had a brief issue.
Overall, this property is fantastic. Our entire family loved it. Just a heads-upâtry to arrive during daylight hours, as the driveway turn-in is a bit steep. But trust us, itâs totally worth it.
What a lovely spot for a getaway! The hosts thought of everything you might need for a comfy stay. The Turtle Cove Spa was a treat! We will be back again.
The unit was really nice and the kitchen was the best stocked of any we've ever stayed in. When traveling as a family of 7 we tend to make a lot of our meals in. The roughest part is the driveway to the condo. Be prepared to arrive in daylight the first time as there are lots of turns in the road and the final decent into the parking spot is really steep. The views and hiking trails more than make up for that!
