I have stayed here often and have enjoyed the set up of the rooms and the location. This time the lobby, stairway, hallways and rooms all had a funky smell (different for each area). It was overpowering. The carpet was bubbling in our room and the whole place was in general disrepair. I don't know what happened as I have always been happy staying here previously.

SKIP THIS HOTEL!!! Entire place had a smelly odor. The bathroom had a hole in the door, a light fixture without trim, dusty dirty floors. Luckily we only needed one night stay. Read and re-read reviews and DO NOT STAY HERE!! Don’t walk around the room barefoot. No screen on window. Looks like mold on the shower curtain. No security as all outside doors were propped open. SKIP THIS HOTEL!!

They are under construction. The first desk helper was unfriendly and unhelpful. She didn't even speak in full sentences. She gave us and another customer rooms and keys that weren’t available. We had to return to the front desk to exchange. The carpet in the room was filthy. The room was spacious. The fridge didn't have a freezer cover door. You could hear in the hallway and other rooms while in your room. Very outdated. So happy they had filtered water available at all times and tea. They had coffee in the rooms.

The lobby had a horrible cigarette smell, the pool was not available for children, gym had an extra cost even though both were supposed to be included in the hotel amenities, the room had big visible carpet stains. After misplacing the gym card the from desk receptionist wanted to charge $100 cash only. I dont know recommend this place!

The elevator alarm was going off, front desk didn’t seem to care. There is no pool, but if you are over 18 you can go to the gym next door, which was a big disappointment for our kids. The hotel was dirty, the elevator had graffiti in it. The front desk staff was rude. Room was nonsmoking but smelled like cigarettes. Do yourself a favor and read the Google reviews before you book.

A thong would have a better chance of covering my butt than those blinds would have of covering the windows. It meant for a night of trying to sleep while the lights from the signs of the business next door were shining in the room. Thankfully at 5:30am, the lights from next door were no longer an issue as the sunlight drowned them out and filled the room. Definitely not to the standard of a Wingate.

Great place, great breakfast, great price.

Met our needs perfectly. It was a budget hotel, but was a great room for the great price. The full breakfast was awesome! All you can eat buffet of waffles, sausage, scrambled eggs, fried potatoes, biscuits and gravy, cereal, muffins, juice and coffee. Convenient location too. We'll be back. Pet friendly and only $20 extra a night.

Such a great place, we ended up staying over for the 4th of July! The breakfast was phenomenal, the staff is incredibly accommodating...I lost a tiny chip out of my car key while we were packing up and they did everything possible to help me find it - a seemingly impossible task - but it was found within an hour. The coffee/mocha/hot chocolate etc.. machine up front was a nice plus. No lack of the things we needed for our room. We would definitely stay here again!

We have been here two nights, the room is spacious and clean, very well stocked. It's nice and quiet and peaceful. The staff have been great for helping with requests and the breakfast is AMAZING -- lots of hot food options as well as cold drink options and sides like bagels and yogurt etc... of all the hotels/motels we have stayed at in the area during our move this one has been the best --- and the lowest-priced! Absolutely fantastic.

The hotel canceled my room with no communication. I sat in the lobby for 45 minutes while trying to see if the hotel had any rooms for me. The clerk was annoyed and bluntly rude. She told me they had a room for me for significantly more than I was supposed to originally pay. I told her she needed to get close to the rate I was supposed to pay. She said she needed to call her manager and get back to me. She then proceeded to check in people for the next 25 minutes. She then called her manager and when she hung up, she said they have no room for me at all. Our friends had already checked in so I went to their room to talk to them. There was hair in their drain, garbage next to the toilet, the elevator had garbage on the floor and their license hasn’t been checked since 2023. Gross

There was no TV avaliable. The cable was out for the whole building for the entire 3 days. The pool is across the street and an employee has to accompany you over there. It's not heated and they don't allow anyone under 18. One lady at the front desk was nice and helpful. The other was rude. The breakfast was just OK. They did have eggs and sausage both days. Only one choice of cereal and white bread. One thing that was unsafe is there are 4 doors open to the motel; you don't need a key to get in building.

The person at check in wasn't friendly. The room had a leaky bathtub faucet that we heard dripping all night. There was a bug on the wall in the room. There was no toilet paper at all in the room. The breakfast that was served wasn't the best. A commotion in the hallway woke me up in the morning and it was the manager pounding on someone's door telling them they are to leave and not to come back and that the police will be called. Police weren't called, the manager was just rude and loud. We were told there was a pool over the phone but the outdoor pool was closed and the sports club that is made available doesn't allow anyone under 18, which made it pointless for us. The coffee maker in the lobby was pretty good with a variety of drinks, but the chocolate milk wasn't working and the machine would go in and out of service.

The room itself was okay, but the facility was terrible. Very run down and less than clean. This property is over priced. The TV was inaccessible for the entirety of our 3 day stay and the internet access was spotty. We will never stay here again.

A mediocre stay, 2 kids & 2 adults.

Guest service was frustrating the first night. We had asked about a roll away bed several times right when we arrived in our room and by 9-10ish at night we finally got an answer they didn’t have any. The red carpet in room was sticky. The bathroom tub pooled water when showering. Could use a trash bin next to toilet not just outside of bathroom under sink. Perk was use of Gym next door which was nice! The outdoor pool was low on water, not clean of debris but had chlorine, and no towel storage bin but towels requested were brought out to pool. The breakfast was decent, waffle maker is always a plus. It seemed like the hotel was going through a renovation. wifi was terrible. tv cable was not working, did not have apps to watch streaming shows / movies, no dvd.

To start - there is NOT a pool OR gym onsite, despite what this listing says. Instead you can get vouchers to use the pool around the corner... if youre over 18. Because what kid likes swimming at the hotel pool anyways right? (heavy sarcasm) This place is ran with the absolute minimum of everything. The times I did interact with the front desk I was treated like I was interrupting their entire day. My room only had decaf coffee and I was told they were out of regular coffee pods, and the lobby coffee machine was out order. The back entrance is left propped open at all hours. We came and went frequently early in the morning or late in the evening, and everytime the door was propped open to the back parking lot and The lock on the inside door was broken, so anyone could walk in without the front desk staff seeing. Stayed from Friday - Sunday and none of the common areas were cleaned or vaccumed the whole time. It was the dirtiest lobby I've ever seen. Can not recommend this place to anyone.
