Only 3 miles from 6A4 Johnson County airport, it is ideal for pilots.

A Wonderful Week

Our stay at this lovely home in Mountain City TN was just what we needed. This is a very private place on 63 acres of land. Our hosts were very gracious. Everything you could think of that you might need in your stay was well provided for. The wildlife that we saw daily was such a refreshment after a busy year of work and life. This is not some small cabin but a very spacious home. We even enjoyed putting together a new puzzle they had left in the cabinet. You will love this stay and make it a point to go to the Virginia Creeper Trail and spend the day on a bike. --Mark, Jeanne & Laura Wilson

What a lovely place!

Our family of five had a wonderful time! The place was absolutely perfect! It’s a close drive to everything we wanted to do (Grandfather Winery, Grandfather State Park, Beech Mountain, Boone and much more). We absolutely loved this place. We travel a lot and this is now our favorite cabin. We will definitely be back! The land was a huge bonus, it was a o peaceful and there were lots of wild life. We saw several deer and turkey feeding in the pasture right in front of the cabin and we loved the stream that runs in front of the property! Jim and Candie were very nice and accommodating. You will not be disappointed if rent this beautiful place!

Wonderful property in great location.

Property is as described, clean, comfortable- larger than expected. The deck was lovely for morning coffee and afternoon relaxing. The owners are very attentive. We hosted a family Thanksgiving dinner, had everything we needed! Wildlife was in the front yard everyday. Location is perfect if you have family nearby. Very convenient to Boone. Truly a wonderful place to stay.

LOVE THIS HOUSE/PROPERTY!!!

Four of us stayed for a women's retreat (10/5-10/10/22). We stay somewhere different every year...and of the 6 years, this one was our favorite overall property. This house and property provided such an amazing getaway. The overall 'vibe' of the house, the views, property walks, the creek, the horses, the wildlife, all gave us great joy and peace during our stay! The layout of the house is great. The bedrooms and bathrooms are large. You're able to sit in the living room or dining room and enjoy the view out the awesome window front of the house. You can watch horses, deer, turkeys, groundhogs, and more from inside or outside on the beautiful wrap around porch. The furniture, mattresses, bedding, towels were all clean and comfy! The house was wonderfully clean and smelled good! It's conveniently located within less than an hour to everything you need or want to do (grocery/gas/ice cream/restaurants/entertainment). Our visits-->Creeper Trail-25-30 minutes; Vineyard/Winery-20-25 minutes; Boone-30-35 minutes. Jim and Candy (the homeowners) were so kind and super at communication! We honestly and truly highly recommend this house!

Great view... Peaceful

Getting up in the morning and having the mountain view, along with horses, and wild turkeys grazing, was great! This place is peaceful and quite for a great getaway. We were in Tennessee for the night races at Bristol and enjoyed our mornings and early afternoons at the house. Wouldn't have a problem staying and never leaving until time to go home if we need a getaway with no plans. Grocery is close by so you can stock up necessities. The only down side was no coverage for AT&T cell service, but it did have great wifi! Would recommend if you're looking for a great place to get away from just about everything.
