Reception was helpful in arranging a guide for hiking around Mulanje, but does not take responsibility for the guides or hikes. They just have a phone list and make the calls then its up to you to negotiate with your guide, which is fine. The meals were decent. Breakfast buffet with a decent set of choices. They had live music (a singer/guitar player and guy with a cool local drum set) by the pool one afternoon, which was nice. Great views from our chalet. Overall, a pretty nice place to spend a few nights. And the price booking through Expedia was considerably cheaper than booking directly with the lodge.

Wonderful scenery and a nice drive to get there.

Only complaint was loud TV in the dining room. Even selecting the outside table furthest away did not remove this distraction.
