Stayed twice on a recent trip south and back from our home in WI. Dogs absolutely loved the property. Kevin is extremely welcoming, fresh cookies warm from the oven were a treat. Bed is very comfortable. We've always stayed at a place off of the I in past trips, this was so much more peaceful, and enjoyable for the dogs.

This was my second visit at Peace on the Prairie Too and it was just as cozy and welcoming as the first. The house is extremely clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully stocked with not just necessities, but extra touches. It's a joy to have such a lovely place to stay with my dog and to be able to get off the road and into the beautiful prairie surrounded by trees, flowers, and birds. 10 stars! Will be returning!! We booked this place VERY last minute and the host was sooo accommodating! Though it was booked the night before, we were able to check in by 10:15 am and we were welcomed with fresh cookies!! The tinyhouse itself has soo much charm! So homey!! Lovely piece of peace!

Kid friendly - pet friendly - lovely view of stars (when no clouds). Comfortable home! Stairs are kind of steep if you have someone with mobility issues but they have their other 1 story property too. I walked past it during a hike and it also looks lovely. Kevin was so easy to communicate with. I will be back.

Peaceful night away

It was the night away from the kids, animals and work we needed. Very peaceful and relaxing. Now we want our own tiny home.

The name says it all

Though bigger than my home in Key West, the name Peace on the Prairie Too - Tiny House describes it perfectly. Just a little off the beaten path with no homes too nearby, it was exactly what I had hoped for. The communication from the hosts was spot on, and the chocolate chip cookies were a real treat! Next time I visit family in the area, I will return for a longer stay.
