Rustic Luxury Along the Illinois River

Our first renovation at Serenidad Ranch, the Colorado House is a completely refurbished rustic country home minutes from Tahlequah. From our king size beds with luxury linens, to our outdoor, screened patio with big screen TV; every space has been designed for your comfort and enjoyment.

Located East of Tahlequah; the Colorado House is 10 minutes from town. We are10-15 minutes from all the Illinois River float rentals and public access areas. The entrance to the new Tahlequah Trails biking/hiking park is also minutes away. The Colorado House is within driving distance to multiple area lakes.

The Colorado House welcomes people of all ages to enjoy our rustic luxury. It is ideal for all sorts of occasions from a couple's retreat to a place to meet and watch the big game. Child friendly, the Colorado House is a great place for get togethers of all kinds. We have two bedrooms with king beds; 1 bedroom also has a twin sleeper chair. Our large living room features two Queen sleeper sofas. There are two bathrooms; one with a tub/shower combo, and the other has a large shower. Our kitchen has all new appliances, along with a new stackable washer/dryer combo. We also have an outdoor grill.

Serenidad Ranch is adding on the amenities in 2022. The historical Tahlequah Gun Club has been refurbished, and we have open shooting dates scheduled. Our most recent project is the renovation of Serenidad Cottage. The original home on the property, we have completed renovations of the cottage, and it is also available for rental. The Colorado House sits across the way from Serenidad Cottage #2981064.

Exactly what we needed!

The property was amazing. We had 7 people and it never felt crowded. The beds were so comfortable, we slept great. And the enclosed patio was perfect for dinner and games! Plus the location is gorgeous and close to everything we needed. We forgot some things and Doordash saved us within 30 minutes (twice, once at 10pm), and we were 5 minutes away from All American Floats. All we can think of improvement wise is adding more trash bags, dishwasher pods for multiple nights stays, and steak knives. We will definitely be returning!

It was a very pleasant stay. We enjoyed the cabin. If you are looking for a river access the property has none. Tho there is a beautiful creek in the back of the property you can enjoy. if you have someone with you that has a high risk in falling you dont want to rent this cause there are a lot of steps that they need to navigate around especialy in the front of the doors. Other than that is is a very cozy and comfortable cabin and you'll love their screened patio area to party and play parlor games if you wish to.

Amazing Experience!!

Family of 19 had planned a float trip at War Eagle resort. Some camped and some prefer a modern air conditioned place to sleep. I rented this property as my choice and a place to keep some of the younger kids or over flow sleepers. This was an amazing choice. Big comfy beds in both rooms. An amazing host. A very cozy

Quiet with great indoor & outdoor entertaining spaces.

Property is within the perfect distance of both the Illinois River (5 minutes from All-American floats & 15 minutes from Eagle Bluff) and Tahlequah (10 minutes) to downtown. Had all of the necessary utensils, pots, pans, and even a gas grill which was absolutely needed after a long day of floating. Perfect outdoor space with a TV and 2 ceiling fans that was covered and screened in along with a smaller one which was perfect for morning coffee. Quite the gem! Would recommend staying again.
