Muskoka Serenity - Four Bedroom Cottage, Sleeps 8

House Rules (must meet these to book): We're able to accept last-minute reservations up until 7 days before your vacation commences. This property books Friday-Friday only during high season, sleeps 8 (including children). Lead guest must be 30+ years of age. A maximum of 2 pets are welcome. Please note that, according to the municipality's bylaws, all dogs must be leashed or tethered on the property when outside. Dogs are not permitted to roam leash-free. Linens & indoor towels are provided for all rentals; please bring your own outdoor towels. A cleaning service is provided for all reservations; however, the property is to be left in a tidy condition. No parties allowed. A supplemental information form must be completed.

Things you need to know:

This cottage is in the Township of Muskoka Lakes; Licence # STRA-TML-25-0028. The Municipal STR Licence restricts the cottage to maximum 8 people at any given time during your stay. The Municipality requires rental guests sign a Rental Guest Code of Conduct. It will be sent to you upon booking for electronic signature.
A maximum of 2 pets are welcome at this property.

Linens and towels are provided but please bring your own outdoor towels
Rentals include a cleaning service; however, the cottage must be left in a tidy condition
Winter access requires good snow tires but does not need a 4-wheel drive
The waterfront dock has sun from sunrise to approximately 3 pm. The secondary swimming area gets sun later on in the afternoon.
The deck is a new addition and railings/safety measures are being added. Please use the deck at your own risk and exercise caution around the edges




Waterfront There are two waterfronts at this cottage. The main waterfront has a sandy, silty bottom, with water approximately 4 feet deep off the dock. It’s generally clear of weeds and good for swimming. L-shaped dock is 35 feet long with 4 feet of water parallel to shore, and another 30 feet with depth ranging from 4 feet deep to 0 deep at shoreline. A secondary waterfront is available on the opposite side of the point, so when you lose the sun in mid-afternoon at the primary waterfront you can catch it here! This secondary waterfront has a small deck, and there's shallow entry, approximately 1 ft deep at the shoreline. There's a sandy bottom at least 40 feet out and you can walk that far out before it gets over your head deep.



Close-By Attractions

Walker's Point Lookout Trail Enjoy this 0.8-km out-and-back trail near Muskoka Lakes, Ontario. Generally considered an easy route, it takes an average of 15 min to complete. This trail is great for birding, cross-country skiing, and hiking, and it's unlikely you'll encounter many other people while exploring. The trail is open year-round and is beautiful to visit anytime. Dogs are welcome, but must be on a leash. (3 mins)
Hardy Lake Provincial Park You will find the Hardy Lake trails in Hardy Lake Provincial Park just off of Hwy 169 east of Torrance. There are no facilities at this Park, but there is a parking lot and hiking trails. This is a non-operating park, and as such biking, motorized vehicles and camping are not permitted. (7 mins)
