Motel good for a quick stopover

Stayed in the old motel part at front of this property. Had Queen bed and set of bunks, usual toaster, kettle. Reception staff very friendly. You can use the caravan park pool etc also, you just need to bring a beach towel for the pool. Pretty noisy from rooms next door through walls, but served its purpose. Recommended for a quick stop over

The property is upgrading its establishment. It has various levels of accommodation. I traveled alone and chose the lowest level - it was one of a group of similar units. The unit was spotless, seemed to have been updated recently. It had a queen bed, and a single bed. It had everything I required - microwave, kettle, toaster, cutlery and crockery for 3 occupants, TV. Room size was adequate for the potential number of occupants - certainly adequate for one. There was no couch (not a problem for me). My final observation would be that the unit I was in was an older style motel room, best suited for a person(s) traveling for work or a short stay. There are newer units if your are basing yourself here for a holiday. The staff are very friendly and helpful.

The ceiling fan was broken. No sink to wash up dishes. No dishwashing detergent to wash up dishes. No bedside cabinet or lighting over the bed. No light switch from the bed. Very dusty worn curtains.

Good value for money and lovely pool area. Property adverised a bouncy pillow which it didnt have. We used some of the cutlery which was in the individual paper bags before realising it wasnt clean (ewww). Apart from those things, enjoyable stay.
