One of the worst "4 star" hotels I've ever stayed at. Bad: far from station, horrible beds, dirty, outdated, filthy laundry room with only 2 machines Good: the common areas look nice?

Big and clean room

We booked a studio suite room and the room was huge. Big vanity top with big shower area with a TV facing the bath tub so you can watch TV while you soak in the tub. Location is about 15mins walk from the shopping street and train station. Had an unpleasant encounter with a front desk lady staff when we requested for an hour extension to the check out time. I totally understand if it is their hotel's policy that no extension is allowed but it was the way she replied which I feel it's abit hostile. This same staff also doesn't greet hotel guest and we noticed she will avoid eye contact with guests. On the other hand, another lady front desk staff was very helpful when we enquired about a day trip and she ran after us as we were walking away after she realized she gave us the wrong info. The male front desk staff was also very polite and helpful.

Really nice hotel, all facilities and friedly staff. T It takes about 21 min to walk to the hotel from Nagano station, which we did few times. But there is also free shuttle bus, which runs regularly and trip takes 8 min. Great hotel to explore Nagano and surrounding areas

The hotel has a shuttle from the train station to the hotel. Also, Mai, manager, resolved any issues we had quickly and professionally. The room was spacious and the location is close to the temple, restaurants and shops.

If you want good night sleep, skip this hotel. The Wall is so thin you can hear next door conversation all night long. Room is very small and doesn’t look as nice as you see on the photograph. What about service? The Door man at the entrance (inside) watching us unloading wheelchair, letting disable person out of car and didn’t even come out and give us a hand until I yell out for the help. (We are the only the gust at the door) I have asked GM why he was like that? GM reply back to me saying his job is to escort the guest who have enter the hotel. This tell you all about how they service you. Their fundamental attitude is very poor right from the beginning to the end.

Really nice facility. Staff very helpful. Good breakfast. Sirens woke me up a few times during the night. Must be near an emergency services station. If you're a light sleeper you may want to bring some earplugs.
