Reunion with an old Navy buddy

Cottage was very nice with plenty of room to house our families. Easy for my mother in law to take elevator to and from floors. We appreciated that it had a well stocked kitchen and we could cook while we were there. Would definitely stay again in the future.

The kitchen was the best stocked kitchen I have seen in all of my years of renting beach houses. We had a few minor maintenance issues, which were taken care of very quickly. The property was clean and the location was fantastic. Great sunrises and sunsets from both sides of the house. Would definitely stay here again.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We are a family of 4 and stayed at the Fly Boys for a last summer vaca before school starts. The house was fantastic, perfect location. Kids were able to go to the beach anytime they wanted. We had some very minor issues but the service team was super prompt and friendly. Unfortunately we had a tropical storm come in for a couple of days but we were able to keep ourselves entertained and cooked a lot of great food. Overall perfect for a week long break.

The home is in a good location but not a reat experience at all. The home smelled bad when we entered it. Living room rug and furniture needed to be replaced as they were old and dirty. We went out and bought a couple cans of Febreeze which helped. You can see from the photos that the gounds were dirty. Although we were on the beach, the beach was not accessible too us as there was a large mount of sane between the hourse and the beach. When I contacted Beach Realty about the issues there reply was "What would you like us to do." I decided I needed to let it go n oder to enjoy my vacation. There are a ton o properties to rent in the Outer Banks. Do not rent this one and bot from Beach Realty.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Great however the furniture needs to be updated and the house needs to be cleaned better. The hot tub needs to go outside so that the sunroom can be used. It smells like a hotel pool and the odor is too strong to stay in the room. All the furniture is outdated and in somewhat poor condition but the location is great. You need to add a hose downstairs for cleaning off chairs and feet. There needs to be a better way to clean your feet off when coming off the beach.

Perfect for a large group

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was our first time in the Outerbanks. My parents are both dying and have mobility issues. We booked this house for our last family vacation because of the elevator. It is small, but it did the job. We weren't able to get them to the beach via the deck/stairs. We had to go to the public beach access, but that's fine because it's only a few houses down. The house was huge! The views were great and centrally located to everything you may want do in the Outerbanks. The only issue was when we asked for an extended check out time, the door code reset and we had to climb through one of the windows to get inside to collect our belongings. I wish we could have stayed was nice to pretend like things were normal for a while.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The whole family agreed this was the best vacation since we started coming to OBX 5 years ago. The house was perfect plenty of room inside and it was clean. Location was great for shopping and dining out. Our favorite was the view from the rocking chairs. It was gorgeous. Will definitely be staying there again in the future.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We did have a wonderful vacation! As for the house, our hot tub was unusable for a few days as it was dirty and we called to have it cleaned. When there to clean it it was determined that it needed a new part. He did come back and fix it but again it was mid week before we could get in it. The carpets had multiple stains. The top floor has no closet??? And they toilet up there doesn’t flush very well. And the house it’s self definitely needs some updates!
