SUNNY DAZE is a magical Outer Banks Semi-Oceanfront vacation home right in the heart of Nags Head with striking ocean views and beach access just across the street. The brilliant interiors are simply delightful especially the spacious living area, on the top level, complete with vaulted ceilings, a full wet bar and miraculous views of the Atlantic Ocean. In the mornings awake to our gorgeous sunrises from one of the two oceanside decks and in the evenings relax as the sun slowly sets from in the Sunny Daze covered sitting area.

The king master suite is spacious and welcoming and comes complete with a television, and a full bathroom (shower only). The fully stocked kitchen has everything you need and even features a breakfast bar with seating for 4. The large dining room table, with seating for 8, greats you with wonderous ocean views.

On the mid-level you'll find 3 nicely appointed bedrooms and a wrap around deck. There is another master suite with a king size bed, a bedroom with a queen bed and a bedroom with a bunk and twin bed.

The ground level or entry level provides and enclosed outside shower with changing room, a hammock, grilling area with picnic table and a closet with beach chairs, toys and a beach cart.

SUNNY DAZE provides privacy along with the convenience to outstanding outlet shopping, numerous grocery stores, Outer Banks attractions such as the Wright Brother Memorial and Jeannette's Pier, movies and even work out facilities. You and your family will return year after year.

Nags Head Family Reunion

Awesome family get together in Nags Head. Property was very nice with great views and located across the street to the oceanfront. Would stay here again.

Very nice house and easy walk to the beach.

House was accurately described. It had 3 floors with bedrooms on floors 2 and 3. Loved the wraparound deck. Appliances were in good working condition. We drove 10 hours from home to the property and rental office was only open between 4 and 5pm to check in or the keys would be left in a group box. We paid for mid-week cleaninng but they did not do it. We got a refund. It may have been due to storm Debby that employees did not come to work, but we did not know the reason. The location was excellent as it was close to beach and resturants. Plenty of parking at house.

Easy to get to and good dining options nearby including Biscuits & Porn for breakfast sandwiches. Very Nice house. 4 good rooms, could make the one room a King and have 3 King rooms. Good access to beach equipment and downstairs shed. Kitchen is good, but could use some upgrades on kitchen utensils including spatulas, pans, scrubbies and brushes for sink, etc. The only odd thing is that staying for 5 days did NOT include linens and was a $199 additional fee. My feeling is, it should be included in price and not an add on. Felt a little weird to pay for that. Never have I paid extra for linens because of less than week stay. Other than that, a great house with GREAT location.

Read contract closely and don’t assume

Great location. Home was fine but needs updating.That does not affect my rating though. Biggest issue is we felt like we were a burden to the host since owner is too cheap and inconvenienced to pay for bare essentials like starter sheets, towels,hand soap, a roll of toilet paper etc. I never dreamed pages down in the contract it would say you have to rent towels and sheets and nothing is provided to get started on. I've stayed in several vacation rentals. I’m used to these being provided or at least a small starter soap and tp roll then buying more for your family when necessary. But they literally only provide a mattress. When we arrived we all hurried to the restrooms as we had driven for 11 hours. No one checked to make sure there was tp. We had to go to the store and buy some. Then later got ready to take a shower after all day at the beach and no towels! It was too late to contact the rental company so we had to go buy some beach towels down the street. We then get ready to go to bed and surprise! No sheets, just a mattress pad. I then sat down and reread the contract for the 3rd time and finally found in small print where its not provided. I spent hundreds extra getting these things. Not a very gracious, accommodating host at all! I was very disappointed and will not stay again but the house and rental company itself was fine.

House was not clean and there are huge cockroaches. The AC wasn't adequate for the hot summer temperature. The hose and outdoor show was leaking everywhere and needs replacement. The kitchen area was not cleaned and needed wiping down before usage. Location was great and all the appliances were in good condition including, microwave, tv, washer, and dryer. Overall average place to stay but probably overpriced for 5k plus in July. there are better options in OBX.
