Welcome to Ace’s Delight, a beautifully appointed home with all the amenities for a perfect Outer Banks vacation. This home has everything for your vacation needs, the staples of any stay, a private pool, and a hot tub, but Ace’s truly takes it to the next level by offering several games on-site for your pleasure and leisure. There is a pool table and shuffleboard table for friendly competition. If competition isn’t your forte, you can enjoy the beautiful sunrise over the Atlantic or catch some rays while you lounge on the top-level sundeck. Just a short walk (1-2 minutes) to the ocean or the Nags Head fishing pier, so you get all the benefits of being right by the beach for the ocean lovers in the group. All while being tucked away in a nice quiet neighborhood where your family can run, bike, or take their pets for a stroll. Grab lunch or dinner at Lucky 12 Tavern, and spend the day fishing on the Nags Head Pier, a quick walk or bike ride from Ace's. Ace’s Delight will help you create memories that will last a lifetime. We had a wonderful stay at Ace's Delight. We had the threat of hurricane Erin in the area, but we we were not affecting and had a wonderful stay. The rental management company was great. Check in was easy and when we thought my husband had left his wedding ring at the property after checkout, they were fabulous. Turned out to be a false alarm.

Ace’s Delight

Ace’s Delight really was a delight. It is the perfect beach house for a family with children 4months-8 years old. Plenty of room for all. Very neat and clean. Lots of beach accessories. The pool was perfect. Great location with walking distance to the beach and near by ice cream and coffee shops.

Best Family Vacation Ever

Ace's Delight was delightful! The house was clean and had so many amenities: a fully stocked kitchen. board games, dvds, and a closet full of beach stuff. We enjoyed being able to walk to the beach and the pier. We loved spending the day at the beach playing and fishing than going back to relax and cool off in the pool. The pool is very large, and we were all able to hang out in it together. We had a wonderful time and can't wait to stay there again.

Satisfied - but it needs some improvements

Liked the house for the most part. Nice location. But we had some complaints. One bedroom TV would not work, pool table room stereo/speakers did not work, all smart remotes worked intermittently. WIFI was awful, the neighbor’s house (MI Casa) had more service then our WIFI. We had to end up using hotspots on our phones for WIFI. The filters in the house were disgusting and it was affecting the A/C upstairs. We removed the filter and the realty company did come within a couple hours to replace them. The maintenance guy that came just walked in the house unannounced. Luckily I saw him pull up and was able to put my dogs away before they noticed he had entered. Horrible landscaping - grass needed to be cut, there was vines with thorns all over the ground, not ideal for a pet friendly rental. Couldn’t utilize horseshoe pit or volleyball court. Bad drainage at outdoor shower/pool. Grill was filthy, had to buy a brush to clean it. All fence latches were dry rotted/falling out. Lots of soft spots on deck. Hot tub worked but had a mind of its own.

The bottom floor is where we spent most of our time. I think my son is going to buy a shuffle board table because we had so much fun playing it! Our days were spent at the beach then back to the house pool to relax and play games. Coast Reality couldn't have made our stay any easier. They were attentive and friendly. Their main concern is that you're happy and have everything you need. We will be back!!!

Week at the beach

Having rented with VRBO and other rental companies in past this was a slightly different experience. Past rentals included plenty of sheets and towels. And spices! Though this was different, the home was lovely, close to the beach, and a great space for family togetherness! Thank you for sharing your beautiful home. The space was perfect. We loved the pool

Great Home for Family Vacations

The home was well stocked with lots of activities, games, and pool toys for the kiddos which was extraordinary helpful keeping them entertained. Staff/property management was wonderful and we appreciated the mid-week pool check. The provided emails regarding information, check-in and out, etc. were thorough and very helpful to travelers. My only “suggestions” would be to fix the popped up boards and bolts around pool deck as several people stubbed their toes and the bath tub on the top floor was badly backed up/clogged making for showers standing in several inches of water. Nevertheless, we truly enjoyed our experience with this home and realty company.

Family Vacation

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We enjoyed the house. It accommodated our needs very well. Clean, very organized and well stocked kitchen. Great layout with two masters. One concern/ challenge was the pool had no railing with the steps in. Didn’t think it would matte but grandma fell and several close calls. Suggest add a rail. Buzzers on sliders and doors downstairs gave us comfort none of the children went out where the pool was but perhaps a way for adults to go out without the alarm ringing. Constantly running downstairs to make sure it wasn’t the kids when alarm went off. If those two things were different we would make this our annual house. Close to beach and pier. Everything we needed is within 10 minutes of the house. Restaurants, mini golf, groceries bikes etc. key to closet had good pool toys and games. Advertised horseshoes and volleyball did not find net or horseshoes but it could have been us. Views are impeached by house being built across the street

Our puppy also felt very welcome there with the extra bowls and toys in the cottage. Everything was very clean! I wish we could stay there another week!

Family/friends vacay

We had a large group. Three families children ranging from 2-15! There was something for everyone and the house was perfect for all ages! Plenty of room for everyone to spread out when need and still come together. We would definitely stay here again!
