Great location and many friendly staff members

Great location in the CBD, I walked to the city market, KICC, and lots of restaurants. The staff at breakfast were friendly and actually called me one morning when they didn’t see me so as to check on me. Security guards were helpful and I felt safe as a solo traveller. About 30 minutes to Kenyatta airport and many attractions

The pool was lovely. The room was lovely. Simple and everything worked - microwave, fridge, etc. Easy check in and helpful and friendly staff. Be careful walking the ‘hood. Stay alert and it is all good.

The views from my room showed how beautiful the area is with nearby parks and soaring hawks, egrets and swallows nearby. The nearby streets require you pay attention to your surroundings.

Top place for all your Nairobi ttd- things to do!

I truly love staying at Chester House -it is my home away from home! The place is clean, staff is friendly, & professional & go above and beyond to make sure your stay is as perfect as you want it to be! CH is perfectly situated close to everything -highway, local transport, walking distance to all CBD places one needs -supermarkets, government/business offices, church, gym, clubs, restaurants etc you name it & Chester is close to it!

Am overall pleased with my stay. the staff were cooperative and welcoming. The location is wow Though problems could occur they should be fixed on time. I was a bit annoyed for not being able to enter my room whenever I wanted because of the problem with the room card was not fixed throughout my stay.

Firstly, the staff were fabulous, trying their very best. Secondly, the property is fast running down. I moved into a room where the toilet flushing system has no water supply. Further, some parts of bathroom were missing (though by no means affecting the usage. Thirdly, the wifi is pretty poor, with no access in many parts of the bedroom. to resolve the water problem, the staff helped to move me to another room. However, the other problems existed. All in all, I think the issues are systemic management problems, probably trying to save money in many small ways. But still kudos to the staff who work to cope with the lapses.

Hotel was in great location however wifi almost never worked, we only managed to connect once during our 2 night stay which is frustrating after 30 hours travel and wanting to let family know you've arrived safely. We also had no hot water on our first morning as our hot water system was turned off. We turned it on and waited an hour or so and then showered. The hot water system was very loud and made a smokey smell so we ended uo turning it back off and on an hour or so before we wanted to shower. We were also only provided 1 towel between the 2 of us. We had organised a transfer from the airport through the hotel for 25 USD. We arnt from the USA so didnt have US cash but were told by the hotel we had to pay our driver in USD cash and couldnt pay via visa at the hotel. This was annoying and frustrating, how would we access USD when the local currency is kenyan shillings? The next day one of the staff members sorted it and we paid on card but we should have been able to do this initially on arrival. Otherwise, the room was spacious and clean.
