Quaint Cottage close to Vanderbilt and Downtown

The Cottage is full of charm and located in trendy Midtown Nashville, with 13 windows for that light and airy feel and fresh everything! The kitchen has granite countertops, refrigerator, microwave, stove, oven, dishwasher plus washer, and dryer! Bathroom updated with subway tile, fixtures, floor. Both Queen beds with memory foam mattresses, fresh bed linens, blankets, and towels. Smart TV with free Wi-Fi in a spacious family room with sleeper couch; kitchen has everything needed to cook including the coffee pot and tea kettle.

Parking for The Cottage is in a private lot off the back alley. One free parking space is available on-site. We have free parking for 1 or 2 vehicles in a private lot about 2 miles away. We have identified additional street parking options close by on a first-come basis, and we have a free private lot about 2 miles away for any overflow vehicles at one of our other properties.

The property is perfect to visit Belmont, We walked to campus. The space is cute, clean, and well maintained. The only issue we had was that we were promised a parking space and other people parked in the asiigned spot. You cannot park on the streets overnight so we were stuck with no parking. The cottage is not on a street - it is behind another building in an alley so we did not know what to do. If you have no car and want to be close to Belmont it will work great!

We enjoyed our stay. There were partially dried towels in the laundry, so we washed them again with the ones we used. Loved the closeness of restaurants . The steps were to the house were a little dangerous, but we managed. Will stay again.

Perfect place for our family to stay while visiting our oldest kid at Vanderbilt. This is closer to the freshman dorms than any hotel, includes a parking space, and had plenty of space for us and our two younger kids.The house is spacious, clean, comfortable, quiet, has no stinky air "fresheners" (all too common in rental homes these days), and had nice touches like extension cords for easy bedside phone charging and granola bars and oatmeal for breakfast. The host's checkin/checkout instructions were very nice and clear.Things to know:* The parking space isn't huge. No problem for our mid-sized rental car but if you show up with a giant truck it might be a tough squeeze (especially when the neighbor's giant pickup is parked in the next space).* The windows don't have screens. We used the AC anyway but if you must have the windows open, it might be an issue. * The windows don't have blackout shades. The wooden blinds were good enough for us, but if you require a pitch black room for sleeping, this might not be your first choice.* The host requests that you run the dishwasher, a load of towel laundry, and take out the trash. All reasonable requests, but a reminder that this isn't a full-service hotel. We'd DEFINITELY come back.

I loved this little cottage! It was the perfect size, and had everything I needed. Check in and out was very easy and host had a lovely book with all the instructions plus local things to do. I walked everywhere, it was so convenient, even to downtown! It is a quiet area and I felt safe. I hated to leave, I really enjoyed my stay here!

Perfect Stay Near Vanderbilt and Downtown Nashville!I absolutely loved this quaint cottage! The location couldn’t be better. We were able to walk to great shops, restaurants, and the Fisher Center at Belmont. It’s also just a short drive to downtown Nashville, which made exploring the city so easy. The beds were super comfortable, and the cottage was very clean, quiet, and located in a safe neighborhood. Susan was wonderful to work with and made communication a breeze. We’ll definitely stay here again next time we’re in Nashville!

Our family of six (kids 4 to 14) stopped in Nashville to visit Vanderbilt and Belmont. This was a convenient location for walking to both. It was a comfortable stay and a quiet neighborhood. Some things to note: the stairs into the home were a bit uneven and the exterior motion-detecting lights were pretty bright at night inside. The AC worked great.

We loved it here! We were in Nashville for my son to tour Vanderbilt and Belmont, and we couldn’t have asked for a more perfect location. Most of the time we left the car parked and were able to walk anywhere we wanted to go. The cottage was a great comfortable place for us to return to at the end of the day!

Great night's rest! The beds were very comfortable. I loved the added touches of having extra disposable toothbrushes and toothpaste. Washing machine and dryer we're great to have inside. Living room and dining area were both very spacious and the kitchen had everything! 5 of us slept great!

Quiet cottage

Cute cottage, super clean in a quiet, yet accessible part of the city. Extremely humid weather crept into the cottage making it uncomfortable, but our hosts immediately provided a dehumidifier which made a huge difference. Incredibly responsive.

Perfect for our needs. Great location. Lots of restaurants within walking distance and easy for Ubers. Pancake Pantry is a few steps away and lived up to the hype. The furniture is a bit tired but beds were very comfortable. As other renters have pointed out, the bedroom window air conditioner rattles but you do need to keep it on to muffle outside noise from the alley right behind. The outside stairs and pathway are poorly lit at night—especially when it rains, which it did a lot while we were in Nashville—and steps can be treacherous. I don’t have mobility issues but almost fell a few times so could be hazardous for older folk and small children.
