Warming welcoming lovely house
Publié le 8 mars 2018 sur HomeAwayMy stay in Barbara’s place was amazing. Welcoming smile, lovely house, some caring for my late arrival make my stay perfect. The house is cute, very clean and smell fresh laundry. Thanks Barbara for your hospitality. I highly recommend.

Close to Airport

Got bed bugs anyone
Publié le 30 déc. 2022 sur HomeAwaythe host checked in on the second day. But we soon found out that the house is infested with fleas and bedbugs. Everyone that stayed had bite marks on their bodies. It rained the entire time we were there and there was an odor of sewage from the side and back windows so we had to keep the windows closed.. The neighboorhood was not the best, Was close to the airport was the focal point. Would not advise to rent it

Mylan Grolman thanks for your entire stay. Mylan and a group of people which was over the amount that are allowed, stayed the entire 6 days at the home. I caught up with them the second day and asked if everything was going good and the response was it was great. I even gave them some advice on where to go to enjoy themselves, the conversation was just lovely. After they checked out the house she contacted me and said there were bed bugs so she wanted a refund.. If bed bugs were in a rental from you got there why would you spend your entire stay in torture. I am certain that VRBO would have considered moving them if they had complained the day of arrival or the next day. I refuse to give the refund because the big group of people used up all the utilities which included the hot running water, the electricity, Wi-Fi and in addition that was a busy week for short term rentals. I shouldn’t be responsible for paying for any guests vacation . I have 133 reviews all amazing on Airbnb and reviews on VRBO and nobody has ever stated such a bad report about my rental. We go above and beyond to upgrade and keep the rental clean, free of pests and safe for all of our guests to enjoy. Furthermore I have many guests that return over and over again. The rental
Is free of bed bugs and fleas because we have no pets in it and do not allow guests to bring their pets either. We have been hosting since 2016 and go above and beyond to please our guests.

Close to airport

We were a group of 8 adults and everybody had a comfortable bed to sleep on with the option of air conditioning in each room. (Thank goodness!) We travelled with food but no drinks, and Barbara offered to take us to a nearby store for a few groceries. We were VERY thankful for this kind gesture.

Nice home, mostly positives but,,,,
Publié le 22 sept. 2022 sur HomeAwayThe Home is large and can accommodate a lot of people. The Owner is very quick to respond to messages. The access when we got there was a key hidden somewhere, no lockbox or keypad. 3 of the bedrooms had Air Conditioning, the one with 2 single beds had no air in the 3rd floor and was way to hot to sleep in when we were there. The home is in an ok neighborhood. Directions online are difficult to understand. We stayed only 1 night.
There's maybe a 20 minute walk to the north where the beach is and a couple restaurants are.

Thanks Bart for your stay. Because we are next door we put it there for easy access. But we greeted the first set of guests that came. We are always available when guests arrive. We have now put in the air condition in the fourth bedroom. Again thanks for visiting our country.

Really great location!
Publié le 28 mars 2022 sur HomeAwayPerfect if you are staying over a night in Nassau and flying out the next day to an out island. Close to pick up groceries and to some good restaurants. Barbara is very responsive and easy to deal with.

As as a aviation geek the proximity to the flight path was great but not everyone will probably feel the same.
