Beautiful place! So very clean and comfortable. Great decor. Breakfast was good. Great concept of having breakfast in the fridge ready for us. Also, being able to cook our own eggs, Brilliant! The only thing is it is not in town and is a bit out of the way. If you have a car it should be no problem because they have a parking area.
Super nice and friendly staff. Breakfast is very good and sufficient. We took the gravel road to the property but itâs only 2 km . Very quiet and small . Highly recommended.
The place is very clean and beautiful. Bathrooms are modern and again super clean, they have towel warmers. There is a dining and living room area with bath also. They have table games that we enjoyed, coffee, hot water, cold water. Breakfast is excellent.
The cabins/rooms are nice & modern. Everything else about the experience was not positive. The site does not have anyone working there the majority of the time, so you are on your own to check in & stay there. That is normally not an issue, but the staff does not communicate or follow-up with information that is vital. I called to set up a late check in and had to follow up with 2 additional calls. On the 3rd call I was told they would send the information on the What App, which I advised I did not have. I requested text as the form of communication. He agreed and we texted from that point on. He never sent the lock code or our cabin number because he was not in the office. He said he would send the next morning. I texted the next morning to remind him to send the information. I did not receive any information because he failed to communicate with the other person these instructions. I had to make other arrangements for the nights stay. I finally received the information the 2nd day when I called (again). It was then explained that the information was sent, but it was not communicated to the other person that it needed to be texted. We finally got into the room. The breakfast the next morning was ok. There are a lot of places to stay in Punta Arenas that are much better than AKA and that have a desire to meet the minimum customer service requirements. This is not an isolated experience. There were 3 other guests that had similar issues/problems.
AKA Patagonia is a great choice for those looking for a more secluded, premium hotel experience in Puerto Natales but without the high prices of other similar hotels. The cabins are a bit small but were well appointment, and the bed was incredibly comfortable. It was easy for Uber drivers to pick us up and drop us off (a convenient location for going to town for dinner or going to the park for the day). We didn't have a car but parking looked easy as well. We enjoyed hanging out in the lobby area where they have a kitchen you can use to cook food and the breakfast each morning was a lovely touch. Also the wifi was strong. 10/10 would stay here again!
Lovely little boutique property just outside the town. Extremely easy to get to and from to allow for a perfect balance of R&R and access to town.
Beds are extremely comfortable and the hostess is so extremely kind and welcoming.
While the hostess and the design vibe of the hotel were amazing, the rooms are a bit old - with falling blinds and moldy spots in corners. The superior roomâs hot tub is also a very awkward feature as it is placed outside of the room, and the night of our stay the wind was freezing and strong.
Other than that the superior room is exactly the same as the regular.
