Villa Ariadne is exactly as presented in the photos of the beautiful property. The rooms were spacious and clean. The villa is well provisioned and tastefully furnished. There are four very nice bedrooms, three of which have their own separate full baths. The owner, Athena, was attentive and responsive to all of our questions before and during our stay.We (a family of four with two teenage daughters) immediately felt comfortable and at home in the villa.The outside grounds are immaculate and well maintained - especially around the pool area.It was cleaned for us daily, which is not something we experienced at other VRBO rentals in the past.The villa is located a short walk down to Plaka, which has some of the best organized beaches on Naxos, as well as restaurants on the beach. It's in a great location if you want to stay near the port (about a 20 minute drive away depending on traffic). I would recommend renting a car for ease of driving into town (although you can walk down to Plaka quite easily - about a 10 minute walk to the beach).We definitely would return to this villa on our next trip back to Naxos.

Fantastic Stay

This well-appointed property is a great place to stay with family and friends! Athena welcomed us and made certain that the kitchen was stocked with essentials, including bread, coffee and even a few beers! There is plenty of space to enjoy one another's company both indoors and outdoors. We took advantage of the patio and grill one night, and we cooked for our entire group of 8. Maid service is included every morning, so the home was always clean and fresh when we got back in the afternoon. A short walk leads to a lovely beach. This a wonderful property with exceptional hosts.

Villa Ariadne 2 Week Stay

The villa was wonderful and we were thrilled to stay there. Perfect for our family. It had everything we needed (pool, bbq, living area, more bedrooms then we actually needed, modern appliances, etc.) The owners (Athina and Taki) were very nice and accessible and provided us with numerous tips/recommendations for car rental, boat excursions, private chef dinner, day trips, restaurants, etc. We will definitely come back. Naxos Villa

Athena met us at the property and made sure we had everything we needed. She was helpful with local recommendations and even getting us reservations. She checked in several times during our stay.The cleaning staff was also first rate.Can’t say enough about the property and location. Everything was outstanding. The pool was wonderful and we even made Greek chicken on the wood fire bbq.We will be back!

A Gem on an Island Treasure

The Villa is lovely, well equipped and nicely organized. The spacious outdoor area, pool, and beautiful gardens were where we spent most of our time when we were not at the beach. It was a quick walk to the beach where everything you need for a relaxing time is there. Naxos is a must visit and this Villa was wonderful place to stay.

Villa Ariadne is pristine luxury

I stayed with my partner and our two teenage daughters in May-June of 2023. Athena and Takis were wonderful, present, attentive hosts. They were accommodating and flexible, meeting is in person even though our ferry was very late. The property is spotless and beautiful as advertised. It was easy walking distance to great beaches, restaurants, and bars. We would come back in a minute. Efcharisto!

Beautiful villa in a fantastic location. Great for family.

Athina and Taxis were beyond welcoming. They catered for beyond our needs from taxi recommendations to car hire to helping take our daughter to the local doctors. The villa is furnished and equipped to a top standard. The location is perfect. A 5 min walk to the beach with children. You can walk to dinner and have a few drinks and walk home again. The main town is a 10 min drive away. We can't wait to visit again! Thank you Athina and Taxis for an amazing stay.

Wonderfull Experience

Villa Ariadne was spotlessly clean and had a wonderful floor plan for our group of seven, ranging from age 1 to 79. The pool and deck area was a great for relaxing and bar-b-Que dinners. The sandy swimming beach is within walking distance as well as a variety of great restaurants. Our hosts offered a custom experience and were extremely helpful, even helping with dinner reservations and arranging for us to see a doctor. I wish we could have stayed longer, beautiful! Perfection in Naxos!

Villa Ariadne in Plaka is incredible! This house is literally perfect - the owners have thought of every detail to make your stay comfortable. The house itself is gorgeous, and so thoughtfully laid out and well appointed with everything you could need for a comfortable stay. The pool and outdoor areas are stunning, creating a perfect outdoor oasis. There is even an herb garden so that guests can cook with fresh herbs every day! The beach is a short 3-5 minute walk, and Plaka beach is excellent! There was a large chest of beach toys and pool noodles that were great for my 2.5 year old. We were 3 generations - grandparents in their late 70s, me and my husband (40s), and our son (2.5), and we all loved the house. The layout - a large bedroom and bath with sea views on the top floor, then the main living level, and then 3 bedrooms/2 full baths on the lowest floor, worked perfectly for our group. To top it off, Athena and Takis are the best hosts! They have a convenient guide that you can download on your phone, they answer questions right away, and they will go above and beyond to make your stay comfortable - they did some basic shopping for us so we could have some food when we got there, and they even found a tray of baklava for my dad's birthday. They are amazing. This villa was a dream come true!

This property is amazing! The home is beautiful and the outdoor spaces are incredible. It’s a short walk to the beach and a handful of great restaurants. The owners are unbelievable helpful. They ordered a personalized graduation cake for us as well as decorated when we were out. They made restaurant recommendations, reservations and delivery orders for us. Relaxing in the great pool and having food brought in is definitely something you’ll want to do. These are the best hosts we have ever encountered and they went above and beyond many times to make our stay perfect. You cannot go wrong with this property.

Amazing house! Amazing Hosts! Amazing town!

We couldn’t have been more pleased with this rental! Takis and Athina were such wonderful, accommodating, kind hosts and we kind of also fell in love with their sweet little baby Noah❤️ The house is exactly what you see in the pictures.....except better!! It was so relaxing, close to the beach and a bunch of great restaurants. They loaded us up with a ton of awesome info about the island and recommended wonderful restaurants which is really what we love to do the most, eat. We would go back in a heartbeat and quite honestly didn’t want to leave at all.

Wonderful getaway to celebrate my sad’s 85th birthday. Home was beautiful and immaculate, beach was so close and the pool was a huge hit with my little nephew. Athena was super helpful and even arranged a cake to celebrate!!

GREAT home and location

We stayed at 4 different places while visiting Greece with my family of 7 and mother. This place, by far, was our favorite. It was beautiful, comfortable and only steps from Plaka beach. Everything worked and Athena and her husband were awesome hosts, providing for anything we needed, including carting our luggage back from the ferry. We hope to return to Naxos and THIS home will be the only home we consider for our lodging needs.

We didn't want to leave it was so amazing!!!

Athina & Takis the hosts of the home made this stay in their beautiful home one of our best trips ever (if not the best). The home is stunning and every single thing you need is there. We were so comfortable with plenty of room for the 5 of us. The decor is beautiful. It was so nice to wake up in the mornings to have coffee on one of three balconys. Coming back to the house in the afternoon after a full day on the beach or exploring we would flop on the comfy couches until dinner and just chat and relax. Everything we needed Athina & Takis were more than helpful. Make sure and use the booklet that Athina put together with where to go and eat. We can't thank them enough for providing such a beautiful home and amazing service!!!!
