The sky and blue ridge mountains loom large past floor-to-ceiling windows at this modern luxury ski lodge home on Wintergreen Mountain. High Country Lodge is the newest and largest edition to the Wintergreen Retreat portfolio of fine mountain homes. You will be impressed with the large open floor plan and thoughtfully curated décor throughout the home. The new owners have meticulously remodeled this house with attention to details, so you can be assured of a comfortable stay with quality furnishings and accessories.
The main level includes the soaring, light filled Great Room with cathedral ceiling & stone fireplace, multiple sitting areas and a impressive game room complete with a pool table and bar.
The upper level has the master suite with a King bed and sitting area, and a second bedroom with Queen bed.
The lower level has 4 bedrooms, including a large kid’s room complete with Video arcade and large screen TV for gaming/streaming.
The High Country Lodge @Wintergreen Retreat is a vacation rental home within the Wintergreen Resort in Virginia in the prestigious Devil's Knob Loop area. It is a modern meets rustic elegant mountain lodge that comfortably sleeps up to 23 in 6 bedrooms and 4.5 baths.

Great fit for our larger multi family group. Short drive to the skier drop off/ pick up and great accommodations in the house. We’ve stayed multiple years and I suspect we will stay multiple more!

Family Celebration

Family gathered together to celebrate a college graduation. It was the perfect place to accommodate such a large group of people. The owner was great and very hospitable. I highly recommend this property for large groups, it has plenty of space and all the necessities.

Great house , excellent location well suited for a gathering of 20 +. House is extremely well decorated and well furnished. WiFi is weak but understandable as it is in mountains .
