Located opposite the Maitai river and just off the CBD, this three bedroom home has been sympathetically renovated in homage to the hip 70s (when it was built). We hope you dig it.

Within 5-10 minutes walking-distance to the CBD/Saturday market/supermarkets/Trafalgar Centre and stadium/restaurants/bars/movie theatre – you can leave the car at your pad, and still be guaranteed enough distance and seclusion from the city at night for an easy stroll back to your digs, and a safe and restful sleep. Groove-on-Grove is also a couple of minutes from the Maitai River Walk & Cycle Way, and Riverside Pool and Gymnasium, giving you more easy-reach quality activities.

Groove-on-Grove is the ideal crib for friends, couples, or families who want to soak up central Nelson’s good vibes. There’s lots to see and do together or you can go-bananas separately and meet back at the pad; no transport coordination needed.

It’s a front semi-detached home (entire house) which is fully fenced and private. Fencing and gates ensure a safe and secure environment with push-button locks and an intercom from the front gate to the house (groovy-babe). Windows are also security screened, additionally keeping out the bugs and letting the breeze through on summer nights.

The house has:
2 double bedrooms with queen-sized beds
one of these has a built-in desk for those needing a quiet work station
a 70s inspired 2-bed bunk room with premium mattresses for quality kip
a fully equipped open-plan kitchen, with a 70s inspired booth-seating dinette
2 outdoor areas for chilling back at the digs
a carport (important in this premium parking area)
bathroom includes a bath
a cupboard laundry (washing machine & dryer) plus outdoor washing-line
heat pump for quick heating and air-conditioning, plus retro styled radiators in the bedrooms and lounge for ambient warmth in the winter
comes with two complimentary Vintage Cruiser bikes - for comfy, upright, 7-speed cruising round town & along the waterfront.

Owners live a block away if you need anything; otherwise we’ll leave you to it.

Location

If you want walking access to Trafalgar within the heart of Nelson, this is a lovely location. With the river across the road, this is an amazing location to simply walk and enjoy the surrounding area. Plenty of heating arrangements for Winter and the host was there to communicate whenever needed. We would definitely utilize the location again and recommend.

Terrific place in a really handy spot. Very well furnished and appointed. A couple of enquiries that we had re the property were answered super promptly by Jane the host and quickly sorted.
