Comfy Corner, a comfortable 2nd floor large one room condo in Fairfield Harbour.

Comfy Corner - A Unique One Bedroom with a comfortable queen size bed in a condo room that is bigger than many hotel rooms. We love that it is surrounded by nature, places to walk, and ponds throughout the walking area. You have your own private keyed entrance. No one else has access to it during your stay.

It has room darkening curtains making it a great place to sleep. We have a coffee maker with coffee pods. There is a small table and 2 chairs, a luggage rack, and a TV with over the air channels and a fire stick where you can access your own apps.

We have a beautiful public golf course open 7 days unless there is an event; and "The Pointe" restaurant on site is open 5 days a week, Wednesdays through Sundays. On Mondays and Tuesdays we have food trucks that are located in the parking lot of the bank's ATM.

There are many excellent restaurants in Downtown New Bern. Morgan' s Tavern is our favorite. The Marina has a small store and we have a Dollar General a few miles away where you can pick up various items. It does not have a kitchen but it does have a small refrigerator, separate freezer, and a microwave and a coffee maker with coffee pods and tea bags. It is a great place to visit and/or look around if you are planning to move to this area!

We have an activity center with an in-door and outdoor pool, hot tub, miniature golf, the Marina and a small store at the Mariana. I would meet you there to get up to 2 tickets for one day passes. You cannot live in the 3 surrounding counties of Craven, Pamlico or Jones County; otherwise a valid ID with home address and state will allow me to get you two passes.

There are events in town and in Fairfield Harbour throughout the year. New Bern is the Colonial Capital of North Carolina. It is a very quaint, historical town. There is Mum Fest, the Ghost Walk, The Firefighters Museum, The Pepsi Museum and Tryon Palace as well as historical churches and sections of the City, to name a few popular sites and events. There are walking trails and the unit is walking distance to the Fishing Pier.


You can spend a few nights, a week, or longer; but you don't have to spend a fortune! Check in is at 3:00 pm and Check out is at 11:00 am. Please feel free to ask for extensions of check in and out by contacting me. Whenever no one else is checking in or out, I can extend a certain amount of time for your convenience!

Hair all over bathroom floor. Tub floor was felling like going to cave. Hot water didn’t work at nite. Mold around top of shower. Neighbors bed frame was smacking wall on and off all nite. Could here neighbors tv more then ares. Then tv didn’t work to well kept freezing.

Great name for a cute place. It was clean and comfortable. My husband loved the rocker. Better and roomier than a night in a hotel. Owner was easy to contact and kept us informed throughout the process. Would certainly recommend.

The real plus about my stay at this property was to play golf at nearby Harbour Point. A really good course at a very reasonable price. The only downside with the accomodation is that it is a little dated and everything is very dark coloured. The bathroom certainly needs updating.

We needed a place to stay over for 1 night to break up a long drive. Ann, the host was very kind and communicative. It was very affordable and clean. Not luxurious, but we were not looking for that. It had everything we needed.

Anniversary Weekend Getaway

The host was excellent and the weekend was extra special as we enjoyed the peace and quiet very close to the water. We fished a little and enjoyed downtown New Bern. Great place to visit, we will be going back soon.

Not a great place

I have now been to 3 places with Vrbo. Two were great this one was not. The draws in the dresser were filled with sheets and junk. The Balcony was cut in half by a fence with a fack tree nailed into the outside railing. The small sink didn't drain well. It had a very small table. The TV recepyion was iffy. It had a small indoor antenna on the Ac that moved when the unit was on. There is more but I just want to forget that I booked a place like that. But Vrbo two out of three not that bad
