AnJ Bed and Breakfast, family friendly, quiet country setting.

We are located one mile off route 23, in a country setting located right in the Amish/Mennonite community. We are just minutes from the towns of Bird-In-Hand, Intercourse and Strasburg.
We have a 1100 square foot air-conditioned basement apartment, with a private ground level entrance. A large lawn and swing set for the children to enjoy.
Refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, toaster, silverware and utensils.
A spacious dining room and living room with two deluxe queen sofa beds.
A bedroom with a queen size bed, and a pack and play available.
A bathroom with a 36x36 walk in shower.
A large lawn and swing set for the children to enjoy.
A 12x18 patio with fire pit / grilling rack and table and chairs.
Gas grill.
Water fountain, string lights, portable fire pit, with lots of free firewood.
Riding toys / bikes for children to enjoy on our driveway and lawn.

This property is a hidden gem, perfect for a weekend getaway. It is spotless and it has all the amenities one could ask for...from milk, yogurt and water in the fridge to welcoming granola bars and an assortment of breakfast cereals. Towels, shampoos and soaps, as well as a basket of supplies are ready to use in the bathroom. It is spacious inside and has plenty of lighting for being a basement apartment. The only thing we wish is that we had a little more contact with our hosts.

This is an exceptionally clean vacation rental. Inside, it’s spacious, bright and comfortable. Outdoors, there is a large area to sit, play and relax. Janice and Aaron are wonderful hosts who ensure that you have everything needed, including a generous supply of breakfast and snack foods. Having been here 6 times already, we highly recommend staying at this location!

The basement apartment was lovely! Our kids enjoyed the playset and bikes, but couldn’t stop talking about the giant swing.The location was perfect, the landscaping was beautiful and the property was so well taken care of. We only interacted with Janice and Aaron a couple times during our stay, but they were kind and helpful each time. We hope we can stay again in the future and stay longer!

Excellent and Peaceful Getaway

A and J was truly a wonderful experience for our whole family. Check-In was clearly communicated. The entire place was clean, warm and inviting. Our kids loved the swing, bikes and basketball hoop they had access too. We also loved all the breakfast options that were available. The outdoor space was amazing with such a beautiful view. We will definitely be staying here again.

Beautiful property, gracious owners, won't stay in a basement apartment again though. It was dark and felt a little depressed after a couple of days. I would have loved to look out windows to see the views.

A trip to Pennsylvania from Charleston, South Carolina.

This is a clean, lovely, cozy, inviting basement apartment. Warm personal touches are everywhere. Outside are rocking chairs and a glider and an amazing view Amish country, and for those with children, there's a lovely playset. The hosts were warm and responsive to my questions. I wish we could have stayed much longer!

Great and relaxing stay in Lancaster area

We had a great stay. Aaron and Janice's place is clean, and comfortable, and their yard is very relaxing with great views of surrounding farms. Highly recommended!
