This motel has only two things going for it - it is about halfway between New Hope and Peddlers Village, and it has a good pool with music and bar, though the pool area is open to non-hotel guests and a one-shot mixed drink is $15.

Comfortable and roomy

The beds were very comfortable. We didn't go to the pool but it was a very popular spot and had a bar. We stayed in a 2 room suite and it was plenty big to move around and everyone have a space for watching tv, playing games, eating, and resting. Breakfast was ok. Would have loved a banana. It's an older property but they have done a nice job updating the rooms on a budget.

The staff were pleasant. Big thanks to the kind, friendly, professional and helpful Mr. Honor who works at both the front desk and at the pool. The grounds could be cleaner. The outdoor smoking area was dirty with cigarette butts and ashes. Breakfast was just ok.

The parking lot was packed when we checked in. However, we were fortunate enough to get a space because of my handicap placard. In addition, you can hear through the walls when people are talking or running water. That's not pleasant. The grounds are nice, but it's a walk to get to the lobby. There was no connection from our room to the eating area, front desk. I wouldn't give it a low mark, but I may try another hotel for more convenience. Hotel pictures didn't match the ones on Expedia.

This property is uncared for except the pool area. Our room had bugs and the walk to it had spiders everywhere. Nothing gets wiped down. When we went to talk to the front desk, they were rude and said what do you want me to do, we are near trees. The trees were a full parking lot away, this was poor care. When power & plumbing went out for 2 of the 3 days of our stay, we were handed a flashlight. We booked a room elsewhere and were promised a refund that only arrived with 5 emails, calls, & finally Expedia got involved and helped. They were never planning on doing it.

Not what we thought we’d get.

The lobby and the pool area looked very nice and were refinished. The rest of the hotel was rather old and had been refurbished, but was not what we expected.

I booked this for a last minute trip and I ended up being pleasantly surprised at how wonderful this property is! I honestly wasn't expecting much given the great price I got, but it exceeded my expectations. Every staff member I came up on was amazing. I want to book another stay for longer to experience all the offerings!
