Hideaway Cottages, Cottage A
This 2 Bedroom, 2 Full Bath getaway has a rustic charm and a peaceful setting, with access to a firepit alongside waterfalls. The Hideaway Cottages are on the same road as a Par 3 Public Golf Course. Located 1.5 miles from downtown New London and in close proximity to The New London Hospital, Colby Sawyer College, Proctor Academy, Lake Sunapee & Mt Sunapee. This area is plentiful in outdoor activities such as skiing, hiking, Lakes/Beaches, and several local restaurants.
Lovely cottage that was perfect for a short vacation for our small family. So glad to find a comfortable, dog friendly place! Barb has a helpful binder for guests on the desk with great local suggestions. (We loved Ziggy's pizza.) The beds are very comfortable, and the kitchen well stocked with dishes and cooking items. Our dog loved how low the windows were compared to ours at home.
Barbara was very communicative, the property was just as expected and perfect for our family (2yo, 4yo, and parents). We brought our own pack and play. Especially loved the keurig! This is a cabin/cottage in the woods so it just has the essentials and isnât overly luxurious but was perfect for the price and location. Would definitely come back.
Barbara was so friendly and accommodating. She went above and beyond taking last minute changes in stride and going out of her way to make us comfortable. Will absolutely make this our go to destination if weâre in the area again.
Clean cottage that was great for a short ski trip to Ragged mountain with the family. Communication with Barb was excellent too. Might want to come back in the summer and explore the hiking and waterfalls! Just wished we knew the master shower was not going to be functional before booking, since we were bringing 2 teenagers, but it worked out for a short stay.
We LOVED our stay! The cabin was very accommodating and magical. We were surrounded by great, green pines while the snow blanketed the ground. Honestly, it was all one could ask for during a winter's weekend in New Hampshire. Thank you SO much!
