Checking in with Todd went very well. He was concise, yet thorough in explaining the benefits of staying at the Best Western Plus French Quarter Courtyard Hotel. The breakfast was amazing. It was different every day. The room was eco-friendly. We requested they not waste water by changing the sheet and towels every day. We did have to ask to replenish the coffee's, and they did so immediately. As with most things in the French Quarter the building is old - for example, he sink was clogged upon arrive, but cleared by the next day. The elevator smelled of mildew. On the other hand it was quaint and gave the feel of NOLA in its day. We enjoyed never having to move our car and being in walking distance to EVERYTHING! We would stay there again.

Staff was very friendly and nice. Best breakfast spread we’ve come across. We appreciated the safeness of the hotel and cars. Unfortunately, bathroom wasn’t the cleanest. There was hair on shower wall that was not ours. We noticed before getting in. And room was very noisy. You could hear pipes all night and people talking. Luckily we are heavy sleepers. Overall score of 3.5

Location was great, the hotel and the staff is nice. Walking distance to the French Quarter and a bit away from all the loud noise. Parking was super convenient and safe. Doors are locked which is nice too. Breakfast is great as well. Overall great stay

The Best Western Plus is an old building right on the edge of the French Quarter, but unfortunately, I had a terrible week-long stay due to unacceptable service failures. My initial room had two major issues: the TV wasn't programmed correctly, and the hot water in the bath was not working. When I raised these concerns, the initial team was dismissive, telling me I was "doing it wrong" and just to "leave the cold water running" - even after seeing it wasn't working. By the third day, I was fed up and had started getting sick from bathing in the cold water. Finally, someone with actual sense came to the rescue. This second employee was super courteous, confirmed the problems, and quickly moved me to a working room. If I could, I'd give this guy a 5/5 for his professional attitude. Apart from that, the stay was terrible, and I fell sick because of the initial staff's attitude. As for the food, it's honestly just meh, and they constantly run out of creamers, and cup sleeves after evening. A clear warning: don't rely on the breakfast spread, and if you encounter room issues, insist on speaking to someone who will actually check the problem.
