It was a beautiful hotel, but the room they assigned us to was unbelievably hot. We tried to put the thermostat down but nothing seemed to help. The hotel it self was amazing and the staff was so friendly but even the hallway felt like it was 90 degrees

The staff was amazing. Valet service is pricey but the staff is great. Rooms are needing maintenance. Rooms need to have refrigerator and microwaves.

Great location. It is close to Bourbon street, but not loud at night so you can sleep. The beds were comfortable and the staff was nice. My kids liked the pool too. Great stay.

Richard needs to be fired

I booked 2 rooms, one for my family and 1 for my friends. The valet, BJ, greeted us when we arrived to the hotel. He was very nice. The ladies that checked us in were very friendly. The hotel is old which is expected and one of the reasons why we booked it. The beds were comfy. There is little room for your clothes, but it wasn't an issue for us. The issue we had was with the valet named Richard. Dauphine is a narrow street and when we drove back to the hotel from an airboat tour, the cones were placed at the entrance and Richard was nowhere to be seen. We waited at least 5 minutes and we were backing up traffic all the way down Dauphine. My huband moved a cone so he could atleast pull in and stop blocking traffic. Richard finally came out 5 minutes later and started yelling at my husband. He berated him in front of my children and friends for 5 minutes. It was completely uncalled for and unprofessional. Richard should never talk to guests in the manner that he did to my husband. Everyone else at the hotel was nice, but Richard was one of the rudest people I've ever met. He wouldn't let it go. When my husband told him why he pulled in Richard said, "I don't care! Let them wait! This is more work for me!"
