The room smelled of mold as soon as we entered. My aunt found it hard to breath and the smell she noted as offensive but had no choice to stay. It was very small with the 2 double beds. The computer chair fake leather was peeling really bad. I accidentalSly left my new jacket zipped sweater on the black chair as it blended with the back side of the chair. I tried calling it was no answer or the phone would just hang up. post cruise we uber back and spoke with front desk. They were very nice. Showed me some big dress jacket not mine. They called housekeeping who noted placed it in the office that was locked up and unfortunately had no key. I was to contact email their manager and staff said they will mail it to me. Their manager refused to send at their cost and now notes it is not there. This means staff had taken it as they were the only ones that would had been in the room. I ask for IHG chain credit as even the uber was a cost x2. She refuses. very poor service. We will not be back and will let others know. Hampton Inn Hotel was amazing and huge rooms too and walking distance to Bourbon st.

Rooms are pretty small and you should consider the rooms for 2 adults and no more. The bathrooms do not provide much privacy, so take that into account when traveling with people that are not your close family. Overall the location in NOLA is great and the staff was very friendly. If you are a large person the beds will feel small and not supportive.

Booked a king bed room. Once checked in and in the room it was a two bed room. When I asked the front desk about it he said we booked a double bed room and they were sold out so no way to move us. I know we booked a king room. I’m sure the king room cost more than the room we stayed in and there was no offer for any refunds on the over pay. It was one of the cheaper hotels in the city I guess you get what you pay for.
