The breakfast was good and staff lady real nice and wanted to make sure I had everything I needed. The check-in late night staff was very friendly. The down side was just the property itself. It is way beyond needed a major overhaul. The room was pretty beat up and strongly smelled of musty mildew odor to the point I almost decided to leave but had been driving most of the day and was exhausted. I had not read other reviews also noting this and they go back a while.

I don't know how this place gets the high ratings. The staff was wonderful, everyone helpful and friendly. But, this hotel is tired and old and really just gross. The beds have no blankets on them (sheets only), chairs are heavily stained, bags of trash are laying in the hallways, walls are missing paint, elevators have trash in them, carpeting is ripped and frayed. The television showed pixeled video, and I woke up with red bites all over my body (bed bugs??). The hallways have a strange odor. The only reason we stayed here is because of the pet policy, but, it seems that will cheaper pet policies, you get more ghetto hotel options. SKIP IT.

I ordered a disabled room since I'm an amputee. I was given room #307. When the elevator opened on the 3rd floor I was hit with a musty smell. When we entered our room the smell was 4x worse. I figured that the room would clear up when I turned on the A/C. After staying in the room for 4 hours I couldn't take it any longer. At 1 in the morning my wife suffered an asthma attack. We went down stairs and the night clerk got us into room 208 it was musty but bearable. The whole hotel needs to be gone through and the mustiness needs to be abated. This place is a future lawsuit waiting to happen.

Your staff are exceptional and the room was clean. I enjoyed the breakfast every morning and the coffee all day! Everyone I spoke with was kind and very helpful. The hotel itself is a bit worn and is showing its age. I did find the air "fresheners" at the hotel entry to be very overpowering and the room itself was also a bit too strong.
