The room was clean though it did show its age. He louvers on the AC unit were busted and the vanity in the bathroom was scuffed up. When I arrived only one elevator was working it took a long time to get an elevator when you wanted one, even when the second elevator was working.

The room was clean and the staff friendly, but the hotel was very basic, elevators slow and the AC unit loud (with no means of turning it off). I thought it was over priced, but then again, I don’t have any recent experience in NYC to compare it to.

I loved my stay at Candlewood. The staff at the front desk were super friendly and so helpful. I had questions prior to my stay and they always reaponded politely. The hotel is a perfect location for singles, couples and families who want to be right in the heart of time square where you can walk to alot of the attractions. They had complimentary drinks and snacks throughout my stay which was a nice added touch. The rooms were clean and worth the price. I really loved my stay and would come back again!

The room was incedibly small for the price I paid. The shower was moldy and damaged and it was either too hot or too cold no matter the seeting we put the tempature.

Staff was wonderful and helpful, room was very comfortable. I used the kitchenette and found it convenient for a longer stay. Bed was mostly okay, mattress was a little too firm for me. I would definitely stay again.

Nice place. Faulty locks!

The locking mechanism on the hotel door needs to function better. I would suggest replacing or upgrading the card-based locks.
