Excellent location, clean building and room. Low rating is due to bathroom condition. Shower curtain does not reach the floor and water floods the bathroom with every shower. Required mopping up with towels after each shower. Evidence of longstanding problem in unit 18 with cabinet showing signs of being waterlogged. Easy fix but doesn’t seem like anyone is paying attention.

We enjoyed the location. We did very well with parking and that was free! It was noisy but that was expected. I just played a white noise on my phone and it really helped me. Always good to have a kitchenette. We end up bringing home lots of great treats!

Be advised that there is no elevator, only flights of stairs to your room. There is also no front desk with staff to call about matters regarding your stay. Our communication with the hotel was via email (for the code to enter the building and instructions to check out). This hotel is sufficient for someone who is just looking for a place to sleep and store their things while out in the city. Slept well; it was not disturbingly loud. By no means luxurious. Affordable by Manhattan standards. Very easy access to shopping and dining. It gave us what we needed for a night out in the city - nothing more, nothing less.

Basic hotel, room needs to have some things addressed. Bathroom sink clogged, wrong size toilet seat. Bed was good, room needs some TLC. Only stayed one night, so met our needs.

Didn’t like the loud noise all night with thin windows/ac units u hear everything like it’s right there. Also the no holding bags before check in was a pain. People at other hotel were very nice though.

Great staff , great facility , great kitchen , we always have a great stay at EVH , Sean and staff always make is as easy as can be for us and we greatly appreciate them . We only stay here and highly recommend is for a “real “ nyc experience.
