The staff was great about answering our questions, and checkin/checkout was easy. The transportation from the airport was reasonably easy. You take the free AirTrain to Federal Circle Station, go downstairs to groundlevel and walk under the covered breezeway to the hotel shuttle pickup area. The Hilton Garden Inn shuttle leaves the hotel every hour and half hour to arrive at the pickup area 5 minutes later so you don't need to call for a ride. You can also ride back to the Federal Circle Station, go to the second level to ride the AirTrain to the Jamaica Station (less than $10 charge) then buy a LIRR train ticket to Penn Station if you want to go into Manhattan to see some of the sites. It was a safe transportation method. We easily walked from Penn Station to the Empire State Building, Macy's, Madison Square gardens, Time Square, and were easily able to catch a cab to go see the Statue of Liberty as well.

The place was so peaceful and quiet I didn’t even wake up in time for bfast but I had a great relaxing weekend. Staff was very polite and friendly. I will definitely be back.

We arrived in late at jfk and just took a quick taxi there. In only cost $13.00 for the taxi. $20 with tip. Arrived around 10 and left before 7 the next morning. Breakfast was offered for a cost but we did not have time to wait.

Expedia says that this hotel has airport shuttle operating 6am-10pm, but reality is that the last shuttle is 9:45pm. We did not know and waited in cold wind for 40 minutes . We then called the hotel, and the person on the line was rather rude.

Everything was good at the Hilton. The breakfast was above great. Like one of the best breakfasts we’ve had at a hotel. The water pressure was a little too harsh for us, but the temperature was good so we didn’t complain.
