Very nice neighborhood.. especially for a musician . The hotel was nice but you could tell some of the decor was either deteriorating or needed to be updated. The televisions DEFINITELY need to be updated to smart tvs.. everyone uses YouTube, netflix etc.. broadcasts channels are a relic. Overall nice stay and the staff was nice, amenities were a bit expensive though.

This was a good find. Lots of great places within walking distance to shop and eat. The F train is just two blocks away so getting around is easy. The room was great, clean.

Street level noise from a 4th floor room is bad. It sounds like the windows are not wide open. I checked a few times to ensure windows were closed properly, but the late night crowd eating at 17th St Burger can be heard clearly until 1-2am. Airpods help but you can still hear them. The room is otherwise fine for a NY hotel. Ok sized shower and bathroom. Desk and the wifi are fine for business work. Elevators are decently fast and not super crowded.

Paid more to be on a higher floor to avoid the noise of NYC traffic. Come to find out there’s a club on the 15th floor open to 4am. Even with being on the 17th floor, we had a difficult time falling asleep with the music thumping all night.
