Heat didn’t work had to switch rooms. New room heat barely worked and was very loud. My room door was directly in front of the elevators. So all night long all you heard was people right outside my door.

The payment system was down for about an hour from time arrived. We went got something to eat then came back and it was back online so could give us room key. First room heat wasn't working, they moved us to another room within hour of complaint. Staff were nice and helpful through everything. Made the stay enjoyable

I must say every single staff member we came in contact with was extremely nice and accommodating. The cons, tight room. We had the king bed with sofa couch. The sofa bed had a very thin old mattress. The room did not have a blanket for that bed. We couldn’t call the front desk because the phone in the room didn’t work. We went down to front desk to ask for a blanket. They were very nice and said they would send one up. It never arrived. My daughter ended up in bed with us in the middle of the night because the sheet wasn’t warm enough. The next day when house keeping came to clean all they did was make the bed and replace towels. We had food trays with old food left in the room. They did throw it away. We came back to the room and it was still there and disgusting. I’ve stayed at many hotels in NYC and will not stay at this one again.

The location was great. The room itself and bathroom were very small for a family of three, but clean, and housekeeping was good. The selection at breakfast was good. However, there were loud noises which sounded like drilling on the 8th floor where we stayed, which occurred mainly very late at night, and went into the early morning. The noise was quite startling and loud enough to wake us up on multiple occasions. The duration of the noises varied from seconds to up to three minutes at a time. Upon notifying the front desk on the first night, we were advised that an engineer would come and investigate what was happening, but no engineer ever came, nor any update offered. However, we did notice that housekeeping left two pairs of earplugs in the room on the third day of our stay. Front desk staff communication needs improvement. Although we tried to be understanding, and sought to have the issue resolved, female front desk staff were honestly quite condescending, dismissive and abrupt. It felt as though we were creating the problem and were advised that to move rooms, we would have to be without a room for four hours until another one became avaliable. Had it not been for the busy Christmas season, we would have opted to seek out another hotel. We will not stay here again.

Great location for us. Close to the train and Times Square. Room was small but modern, spotless and laid out well. Breakfast had enough to please everyone. It was crowded but there were 2 buffet areas and plenty of seating.

Very grateful to get rooms here at the last minute. I found out my reservation for me and my family at Yotel got cancelled as I boarded my plane to NYC, all due to fraud protection on my credit card! The rooms here were a little small but it’s Manhattan. Everything was very clean, beds very comfortable. The free breakfast was good and the staff were outstanding. Thanks 😊
