Front desk RJ and Janelli (sp?) bent over backwards to remedy a small issue we had with our room. (I’m highly allergic to feathers. The late check-in to our room complicated the feather-free request.) They were cognizant, considerate and proactive. It is only because of these two working that night that I would come back to this property. The daytime front desk staff the next afternoon, on the other hand, couldn’t be bothered with graciousness nor kindness towards the hotel guests. I despise having to look at the tops of heads when I’m standing there. At least acknowledge and provide a “good afternoon…I’ll be right with you.”

Room was fine. The wall decor was a bit strange and the bed was pretty hard. The staff was decently pleasant and helpful and the blow dryer was way better than the small ones some hotels leave ya. No major complaints.

The room was beautifully decorated and very clean. Hotel representatives quickly responded to my service requests. We received an excellent discount on parking. We were also provided a microwave for our room upon request. I had a great time and will stay here again.

This was our second time staying at the Kimpton Theta, and they never disappoint. The new rooftop is a very cool vibe and great drinks and small bites. Great for a happy hour or night cap.

Three times we were given new keys for both of our rooms. Each time we were lucky if one of them worked. 10pm on Saturday night and roof top bar was closed. We couldn’t get ice from ice machine and after calling the front desk they just said sorry maybe try going to a different floor? 11pm Saturday night in time square and the staff threatened to kick us out bc they said our kids were being too loud. So much for an 18 y/o birthday in NYC.

Kimpton was located in a great area with easy walking distance to Time Square, Broadway, and some wonderful restaurants! Central Park, the Met, and a few other attractions are slightly further, but still also within walking distance. The entire staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating and we enjoyed the wine hour every night! One accommodation we thought we were sacrificing was an in-room coffee maker, however we found out that they will bring a Keurig and coffee to your room upon request, at no additional charge! The in room fridge was also a welcome surprise, and we were able to grab a few snacks to keep in the room. We will 100% stay here again!

The Kimpton Theta was a delightful place to stay for our theater weekend! The staff was attentive, courteous, and helpful. The room was spacious and well appointed. The elevators were always quick! We dined at the enjoyable rooftop restaurant which had great views. The location was excellent as we were able to walk to the Broadway shows both nights. Would definitely recommend this hotel!

Beautiful rooms, great location for Times Square and Broadway. Only down side is noise which is expected in this location. Staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The evening happy hour in the linge was a nice touch!

Good amenities, pretty standard though. I would have hoped for more of a view - I was just looking at a blank wall from the building next door without windows. I did have a minor issue with my room, but the staff was helpful in resolving it quickly. Overall a good pick if you’re planning to be in the heart of Times Square.
