The hotel itself was very nice, and the room was cute, albeit small (taken up almost entirely by the king sized bed.) The elevators were weird and super confusing – there were no buttons inside the elevators, just LCD screens to select floors on the outside. We definitely struggled with them. Additionally, check-in is not until 4:00 PM, which I didn’t discover until I received an email the day before, so we has to find additional time to kill. We tried to check in early, but they did not have a room to give us. They also didn’t have anywhere to wait if your room wasn’t ready. The lobby is just six freestanding desks, no counter, no couches. That part was frustrating, because we really wanted to rest after walking around all day and we had nowhere to go (short of paying to go eat in one of their restaurants). One of the amenities of staying here, which we ended up not using, was $30 credit to their on site bar. If they had told us about that, we could’ve gone there and used it while we waited. But there was no mention of it until we were actually able to check in, and we already had plans for the evening, so we did not have a chance to use it.
